They call it viewpoint, you get some good views for sure! Photo submitted by danaswanson808 on 12/14/2019
It was a good choice
The round and the players we played with were very enjoyable. However, the late start, 12:45, resulted in a very windy and cool last few holes.
Really good shape for cart path only after the overseed.
We were pleasantly surprized on how nice the shape of the course was after the overseed. The greens were receptive and quicker than we expected. The weather was perfect and it was a great day.
A real gem
A gem of a golf course with great on site amenities and a fun and challenging course for me. The price is right and the course condition was better than I expected. Everyone was friendly and the golf carts were outstanding.
Could use more grass
Pretty thin grass in a lot of places. Greens were furry.
Residents only need play.
If you're not a resident, your cost is double. Previous policy allowed you to walk for a discount but that was changed this year.. Staff just shrugs! and tells you to go play somewhere else..Suggest you follow their advice..
Stay off the grass
First I’d like to mention that the staff and website need to do a better job communicating rules and instructions. Apparently it’s dinner time at 5:30 and the course has a curfew. Oh and don’t drive on any of the grass. Even the uncut, shabby rough. You’ll have a stearin talking to by a marshal who drove and parked on the fairway. Secondly, not one but both of our carts died while golfing. Just saying we would have finished our round by 5:30 if our carts didn’t die. Overall, the course is wide open and you have the opportunity to hit off if three fairways if you like to play wackfuq. The burger joint in the clubhouse smelled amazing.
Slow play
The course was cart path only but a golfer with a Walker was allowed which caused us to wait at every hole - 4 1/2hrs to complete. They didn’t offer us to play through and did not play golf ready.
Course is in good shape and is good value.
Friendly short course
Got a great price on golfnow. A little reseeding being done but overall the course was nice. Had chances for par or birdies on every hole! Would definitely come back😎
Cost
In the past years viewpoint charged less for walking. We were told this policy has ended. This makes the course less of a value.
Nice Course Nice Conditions
Really nice course, it was in superb shape. No complaints! I'll definitely be back!
SLOW
I made the mistake to book a tee time on the weekend. 5 1/2 hours!! Course is in good shape after oversees.
Good Course, Good Layout and Good Value
Nice hidden gem in Mesa. The layout is not boring, good conditions, not difficult, short course and good value.
