Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort

First off I played as a single. starter never called me. I had to skip # 1 tee shot and catch up with the couple he put me with half way down the fairway. Course layout is great and beautiful. Course needs water. Lots of dead areas around tee boxes. Course needs a marshal who does his job. I had to quit on 16 after 2 hrs 45 min to make an appointment. Foursome of idiots ahead of us with no clue. Our 3 some waited almost every hole while they were teeing off. They never once thought of letting us play thru. Guys behind us thought we were slow and hit into us twice. I won’t hurry back to play again

Fairways we're ok, greens we're perfect, management has cleaned up the course.

The course was in great shape, very fair layout, and the back nine quite a bit shorter than than the front. Overall great experience, will come back!

Even after over-seeding the course is pretty beat up. Due to the conditions I wish the price as a little better. More like a $50 max course on the weekends. I had a good time though. And the staff were super friendly. I’ll come back on a hot deal or something.

This is a shorter par 70 course. First hole is a long par 5 around a lake. It’s easy to hit the ball through the fairway, or into the lake on the right. There is no driving range, so be ready when you arrive.

Greens are small with some grain and slope. We basically had a no hitter on the greens, no real putts made. We played in under 4 hours and had a lot of fun.

Cart guy is ver friendly.

Just after the 4th hole we experienced a back up and groups backed up behind us. At one time we had 5 different groups waiting to tee off at the same hole and a group was playing just one shot off the tee. The remainder of the round was backed up. Almost didn't finish before dark .

Fairways and greens are in excellent shape after re-seeding

The par 70 makes you think it's a full golf course but it's an executive course. All par 4s are very short. No imagination to the layout. Flat, straightforward, boring. Overpriced. Slow play.

The course was in pretty good shape. Slow play week day mid-afternoon. Waited on every hole and the people behind us waited also. Course was in pretty good shape after over seeding. Cart path only made play slow. Threesome in front of us did not follow cart path only but still played slow.

Painted Mountain is attempting to really improve the course and I would rate it above average. Having played here in years past, I really enjoy playing here with other wonderful golfers. Lots of nice Canadians playing!

Ridiculously slow. No course marshals around to try to speed things up. Definitely ruined the day

Always a good time at paint Mountain. The course is usually in tiptop shape.

Cart path only… groups not spaced out enough… currently waiting to tee off on hole 6.. started at 2:30 it’s 4pm update finally on hole 9 its 5:05pm update 6pm made it to hole 12… took 3:30 hours to play 12 holes because of the cart path only and poor spacing of players… paid for 18 only able to play 12

Agreed to a tee time and a certain price and had to renegotiate the price and still payed more than agreed upon. And they did this to a group of 21 of us

Too much to list so I'll keep it brief. Got to course early and checked in. Went back to starter 5 min before tee time as instructed by signs, my group had already been sent off, now on tee box 2, I skipped hole 1 to catch up, only to discover the next hole 3 groups waiting on tee box. The fairways were dry and dirt, this is AFTER overseeding. I had to leave course early because I didn't have 5 hrs to burn on golfing.
