Fake positive Reviews
I played here last week and I can only say….dont waste your time or money here. As a visitor I wish I would have picked up earlier that the positive reviews are fake accounts. We always read reviews before playing an unknown course and now that I’ve played here I know they must definitely are not real paying clients. Just look at the account names.
We paid 150 USD to play 18 holes. After three hours we were only on the 9th. With no hope of it getting better we left. The reviews that say there are no Marshalls in sight, believe them. The course itself is ill maintained and no one was friendly. We showed up early thinking there was a range but there is none. No waters in our carts. Just overall not a good time. Clubhouse is stuck in a time warp. I wish I had read my own review before driving the 40 minutes to get there!
No driving range, no consistency with green conditions and the ranger is non existent. This course needs to mention on their website that there is no driving range to warm up, not even nets to hit into. It was a 5 hour round, on a par 70 ridiculous! The ranger has no idea what the heck he is doing, he just drives around with a clipboard and doesn’t talk to anyone! The areas around the greens need to be shaved the grass is so tall and sticky it’s impossible to actually chop or pitch out of them, and the greens themselves and trash, some are fast some are shaggy and slow. They charge $100 to play here, BAD course stay away.
Don't play here
The pace of play is horribly slow...almost three hours first nine. I left after nine. The facilities leave much to be desired. No pop on the cart.
This must have been a nice place in the 70's...
It need a a total revamp.
Very poor conditions.
Had fun
I like the course that is why I keep coming back although earlier tee times are to expensive
Golf for great price
Course in best shape that I can remember. Great value for your dollar. Greens in great shape.
Fun course
Pro shop and restaurant were very personable. The course was open and fun. I would definitely play the course again.
Nice course
Courser's was in great shape. Greens were very nice. Can fairways were green with plenty of grass? I really liked this course . Very playable.
Inconsistent conditions, slow play
Not likely to return, mostly due to slow play. Pace seems to be systemic, not just a slow group ahead. Greens were inconsistent, some smooth and true, others bumpy. Several tee boxes were pretty beat up too. On one hole there was a nice long tee box with nice grass 20’ in front and behind the markers where the grass was dead and beat up like they hadn’t been moved for days. Staff was friendly though!
So Slow
If it wasn’t for the pace of play, I would go back and try it again. We enjoyed the couple we golfed with. However, it was miserable waiting on every hole. Sometimes 3-4 groups waiting to tee off. I’m not sure what the ranger is paid to do but it’s not keeping the pace of play. The whole course could use some improvements but wasn’t horrible.
Ok
Would not pay much more that what I did. Course was in average shape. Greens decent. Tees ok.
Super Bowl Golf
Course play terribly slow, concession closed by 2.30, Marshall not moving the groups, lots of multiple balls being hit.
Poor attitude ranger
We waited on the group in front. Never behind and got hurried by course ranger. I pushed back and told him we were waiting on the group ahead. I told him I didn't appreciate being pushed when we waited for the group ahead to clear the green. He replied maybe I shouldn't play here again. I will heed his request.
Nice course, but expensive
The course is a reasonable one but the pricing was excessive in relation to the course and amenities. The course is conveniently located but at $100 dollars a round it’s out of line. The spacing between groups was only 7 minutes which causes the inevitable waiting times on most holes.
