Wild Horse Pass is a 2,700-acre development on the Gila River Indian tribal community grounds with two separate hotels that are a partner of the 36-hole Whirlwind Golf Club, home to the Devil's Claw and Cattail courses as well as a full practice facility. The Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass is a 500-room, AAA Four-Diamond resort that features an Aji Spa with private pool and cafe and a Forbes Five-Star-award restaurant. Activities include four pools, one of which has a 111-foot waterslide, or enjoy the tribal terrain with horseback riding or trail rides. Particularly unique to the Phoenix-Scottsdale Sonoran Desert is Wild Horse Pass's marina with boat rentals on the Gila River. There is a Sheraton Adventure Club for kids with a full slate of guided activities. For casino gaming, guests can access the nearby Gila River Hotel & Casino at Wild Horse Pass, which has a 100,000 square-foot casino with live table games and live events from comedy to music shows at a 1,400-set venue.Facts

Great Experience!
Great course with a lot challenging holes. Outstanding views and a lot of wildlife.
Worth the money
Great golf course with great amenities! The pro shop was full of great items! Course played awesome ! Id recommend everyone try this place out.
Busy weekend in Phoenix
Very enjoyable course. Unfortunately course was slammed due to Super Bowl and Phoenix Open. We had a 5:15!round.
Enjoyable day on Cattail
We had a great round of golf. Nice layout, greens rolled great, fresh water and clean restrooms on the course. 4 hour 15 minute round could have been faster, but it didn’t feel particularly slow. Beautiful sunny day on a quality track.
Cattail Teview
Everything about the course was excellent with the exception of the non notification from Golf Now about the 2 hour frost delay. Would have been nice to know so we didn't have to sit around for 2 hours. You can only hit so many balls on the range.
Whirlwind - Awesome
The Devil's Claw at Whirlwind was an awesome experience. Other than a frost delay, the day couldn't have been better. Everyone was very nice & helpful and the course was in amazing shape. We played 3 course over the weekend and Whirlwind was in the best shape of the 3. Great job Whirlwind!!!!
Great course but....
The guys in the pro shop and at the bag drop (cart guys) were nice but the old starter was a rude to our 16 person group. The course was fun and in great shape. We had 16 guys here for a conference. We had a previous world long drive champion and we spent $3600 on golf. Got done and were told no smoking cigars outside except out by the putting green. We said ok but we were then told as another warning, if we were caught smoking on the patio we would be asked to leave. Then the waitress informed us that there would be one ticket and if we didn't like it we could leave. She then asked if we were planning on eating. We said no and she said "perfect"? We said goodbye and spent our money elsewhere for the next 3 hours.
Great course and great value
Always in excellent condition and one of the best courses in the East Valley.
Solid Course in Great Condition
I was very impressed with the Cattail course. Good challenge and excellent conditions. Great practice area. Can't wait to try out Devils Claw as well!
