Nice surprise
I had no idea what to expect. I thought wide open easy layout. Not so fast there partner. It was much tighter, with some dog legs and trees and bunkers positioned just in the right place. Course conditions were generally good. Greens speeds are fairly slow but do have some break and roll true. For bent greens very slow but after a few holes I got the feel. Play smart here and you can score. Clubhouse is typical California style and they say food is good but didn’t get to try it. Driving range available but small and I think use limited flight balls. Fine for warm up. Glad I played and good option for the area.
Value +
Great staff, best value around. Will never host the US Open but a beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff that actually appreciates their customers. Very nice facilities. Fantastic restaurant. Well worth the money.
Everything is above average
Wife & I played at 11;40 (tee off time) Paice of play, course condition, hot dog at turn and check in could not have been better
River Course
The greens were in great condition! The course layout was fun.
Ok course
Not challenging, pretty flat. Early morning would be very very wet. Ok course if you are in the area. Expensive but don’t think it’s worth it. The view is nice but that’s about it.
Solvang getaway
I’ve been going to Solvang for years and didn’t realize they had a course 3 min from the windmill.
This course was great, the pro shop took good care of me. The first tee is a great top of the hill shot that plays well for a slice like i was having this day.
9th par 3 has a vineyard to your right that makes taking in the whole experience amazing. Highly recommend this course.
Great staff
Colin and Jeff in the Pro Shop are friendly, welcoming, and professional.
The River
Love this course/food & drinks are excellent. Staff exceptional.
