we played the Cache Creek course at 10:00 as a twosome and finished in about 4 hours.

The course is in excellent shape, greens were mowed and rolled.

Good views of the surrounding Capay Valley, lots of

sand traps, links style course.

Well worth the drive. Add this one to your bucket

list.

Course was in great shape, with the hot weather you can't short side yourself around the greens and expect to get it close.

Pace of play was fantastic, staff does a great job of spacing groups out. This doesn't exist at any other course we play at.

So much to rave about.. on a scale of 1-10 I give it a 20. Simply the best course around. Better then wente and right under Edgewood

It was a perfect weekday and my husband asked to play this specific golf course which became a tradition for him. Friends were not able to take him so I reserved the tee time for him and a couple of our family. we had a great time and staff are very nice and assistive. Except for the foursome elderly ladies in front of us that delayed the game about 30 minutes which is forgivable since the afternoon heat is picking up. Overall it was a great game - we shall return!!

This course was amazing. I’ve played 5 rounds this year all in the last month and this takes the cake. Now it is pricey to play early in the day, but I got my time on GolfNow for less than half the normal rate and played at 2:00PM with 3 other guys.

The tee boxes were immaculate. The fairways were green and ran out but not to the extent where you’d hit through them with a well placed shot. The greens showed no signs of aerification other than a little remnants of sand; but again, not enough to affect any shots coming into the green or affect any putts. I probably won’t play this course again unless I find another steal for a tee time because it’s an hour away for me, but if price isn’t too concerning, this course is well worth a go.

Enjoy the ride, that cart was so comfortable and worth the ride. I like to walk but the cart was therapeutic. I had no aches all day or the next. I am looking for a reason for fewer next day aches and pain, it must have been that world class cart. What a comfortable seat! Don’t stray far from the fairway or it will make you go in reverse slowly back.

Maintenance crew working hard, course looks good. Always feel welcomed and enjoy the wet towels, ice and water all throughout the course. Thanks again.

Have heard this is a must-play course and wasn't disappointed. Bag drop area and check in is well designed. GolfNow had the punched greens advisory so knew what to expect going in and got the reduced green fee too. Nice course layout with some really nice views. All the staff were friendly and eager to help. Even though the greens were recently punched, they still rolled surprisingly well; better than some of the courses around Sacramento. Would definitely go back even if it is sort of off the beaten path.

Aside from the rather hefty price tag, Yoche provides a perfect day of golf. Stunning scenery, challenging layout, pristine condition, and gracious staff make this my favorite golf experience in the Sacramento area. I don’t care that it’s a bit of a haul. It keeps the crowds away...

Some good holes out here. Tough not to like. But it’s a resort so it’s wide open and easy with smooth greens that don’t bounce. That’s worth 4 stars. Though your mind will go to work on hole 15 and need strength on 13 and 18, most holes are just straight even from the back tees. Been playing here since it opened.

Now, I do realize how and what’s needed to make it as nice as it usually is out here so this is for the ones that want peace out here:

Maintenance crew will be in player, mind and guru way so don’t expect them to stop what they are doing so you can golf. Eh. I ain’t mad at em though! Looks don’t deceive here.

Oh well, Every time we play here they don’t see you. But, there are good times to play here and avoid them like when they leave at 2 or 3. They have all the tools and water other courses don’t have and the heavily armed crew to go with it. Unlike SF courses which ban most pesticides, they have the magic potion here.

The valley from 3 to 7 pm is at its best.

So in reality, it’s an easy course. Well laid out, fabulous valley, smooth surfaces which is the norm here. Very nice.

We won’t stop making the trip here, though for its 5?star reviews it’s more 4 star for golf and 5?star for playing surfaces. Darkhorse in Auburn is a better course. Yep.

New hotel the property is building looks great. Should be good for business.

Nice challenging design. Super enjoyable round especially due to getting pared w/a golfer who had local knowledge.

I was drawn to this course after I saw it on the golf channel ranked #1 in the country. I had a couple of friends play it and tell me it was the nicest course they had ever played.

I really enjoyed the course layout, the intelligence and professionalism of the staff, and the design (and furnishing) of the clubhouse and restaurant.

The cons- they had recently treated the fairways (perhaps punched and seeded)? This was totally unexpected and took the conditions from a possible 5 star to a 3 or 4 star rating. in my opinion they should go out of their way to warn people when this happens (at time of booking, when checking in, etc.) so that there are no surprises if they expect to get top rankings.

Also, the driving range- you hit off a cliff, over a canyon to a much lower landing area. For everything less than mid irons the ball just falls into the canyon. There is effectively no chipping area. The setup is gimmicky. I think that they need to build a separate area for chipping and mid irons which would significantly improve the overall experience.

All the hard work put in this winter is starting to work out..sod patches on fairways are taking hold nicely..greens are running true and fast.love the work done on the waste area on #8 looks wonderful and will add play area.

Again the Staff is the best.

I called two weeks prior to ask if the greens or fairways were plugged or scheduled to be. They said no. They lied. The fairways were a sandbox.

Upon arrival, the bag drop guy was nice and full of information. We had a beer before the round, the bartender was greet and attentive. It was all down hill from there. I checked in and the shop attendant was dismissive and without a greeting.

First tee attendant was great and informant. Everything after that felt hurried by the Marshall. They threw a group right in front of us because the time ahead was unbooked. I played with a group who all shot in the 80's and we were harassed about pace of play the ENTIRE round.

This course was on my bucket list and the round was not relaxing at all. I traveled 100 plus miles to play this course and would not do it again.
