Your course is in excellent shape, the staff could only be described as AMAZING. I will recommend this course to everyone and cannot wait for my next opportunity to play.

Yocha is THE primo day of golf in these parts. If you have never been, it is worth the drive. First off, the course is always in excellent condition. Scenery is incredible. Staff are all very friendly and the whole system from bag drop, to check in, to the 18th is flawless. I’ve played here a handful of times, and everytime I’m still impressed. A lot of courses have let their conditions go with overgrown and uneven tee boxes, no sand in traps, bald patches where it should be green, and greens that are rough. Never the case at Yocha. Thanks for another great day

Course was in great condition even considering colder and wetter weather. Greens could have used a rolling in the morning but for a Tuesday they played fine. Love the layout, many holes feel gettable but there's always a little twist that makes every hole slightly tricky...

Sadly, pace of play was pretty bad. We even had two marshals come and talk to us during the round about the slow group ahead, yet no change in pace was seen. I suggested the idea of the slow group letting a couple groups behind them play through, but was met with a strange look as though my idea was out of left field... strange.

Anyway, overall I love this course and always enjoy the experience here.

Overall conditions were very good, a bit soft from recent rain and greens were a bit slow but overall high quality course maintenance. Only real complaint is the pace of play being slow even with the Marshall explaining to us twice that there was a slow group ahead, no change in pace and I suggested the slow group let some other groups through but the Marshall inexplicably dismissed that very simple idea.

Still this place is one of my all time favorites in CA…

Greens were a bit slow but rolled true. Recent rain made the course play soft and longer, however the course was still in very nice condition.

Love this course. Sucks that it took 5 hours to play on a Monday.

The course is always in amazing condition, staff is supper friendly & helpful me and my golfing buddies love this course I would definitely recommend playing here if u can afford the prices. Definitely the best course in the area

This beautiful golf course is pretty challenging, water hazards and sand bunkers are in place. Most of the greens are on the uphill platform, and the greens are very fast. Anyway I love this golf course very much.

Course was very nice. The staff and little things like a cool towel after playing were the best I’ve seen. At its normal price I’d say it met expectations. But the golf now deal had it 75% off. So it was an amazing deal.

Only part of concern I would give a 6.5/10 to the greens.

Not sure what that base is but the balls don’t divot. They hit, slice off a little chunk of grass and slide across and a patch of sand was left. Hard to control the ball landing.

The course was excellent!!!

The amenities were great !!!

I love this course starting with the 1st hole from elevated tees on top of the hill and beautiful shots over water on the last 2 finishing holes. My only complaint is there was several holes that were fairway only and they didn’t make much since. It wasn’t wet or near a hillside that gets runoff or anything. Also carts would almost shutoff in between fairways if you spray your ball and if you were 10 ft from hazards. But I sill would recommend it and I look forward to coming back to play.

We played in October 2023. Overall, we had a great experience.

Positives:

The people are very friendly and accommodating from the bar to the starter and bag people. Very attentive and ensure you are well taken care of.

The scenery is beautiful.

The course layout is well done through the valley.

The golf cart was the most comfortable golf cart I've ever experienced.

The greens were heavily used and in good condition.

The fairways are pristine.

A bit of a challenge to get to, definitely off the beaten path.

Negatives

Not too much but I'm picky.

The tee boxes are a bit shaggy, probably related to the season.

The greens were fairly wet/soft and there's always a few people who don't repair their green divots properly. Not really the courses fault.

The layout, while visually beautiful, is fairly straightforward. Most of the holes are straight away and have massively wide fairways designed to keep play moving (resort feel). This course does not penalize players for spraying the ball off the tee or into greens and you could be playing medium golf and still score very well (could be a positive or negative).

Overall, a very enjoyable round at a high quality golf course with wonderful people working there. I could see the low handicapper wishing for a bit more of a challenge.
