About Cimarron Golf Resort

Guests of the Cimarron Golf Resort will be comfortable at the Staybridge Suites Cathedral City, an extended-stay hotel that is the perfect alternative to corporate apartments or restrictive vacation rentals. All 197 units include a full-sized fridge, microwave, stovetop and dishwasher. A Raintree Vacation Club with two bedroom condos and the Worldmark Cathedral City hotel are also available onsite. The golf courses, the 6,700-yard Boulder course and the 3,000-yard executive Pebble course, are set to a backdrop of the San Jacinto Mountains.

Beautiful Course

Beautiful chorus with well maintained fairways. Great greens and overall grade facility.. only exception is the Sand Traps. Hard sand. The key is to stay out of the traps.

First Time

Spending the month of April in the Palm Springs area. We played Cimarron for the first time and got it for GN Hot Deal…. Its good value for $75.00 - $100.00 but I’m not sure Id play it for more…. We played in 3 1/2 hours so no issue there…. Greens & fairways were ok for the money we paid but I’d expect way better conditions for $150.00.

Good Length Course for Beginners

This course is beautifully maintained and a great course for beginning players or aging seniors. The fairways are wide and forgiving. There are some hazards but most players will be able to easily approach the greens. Good pace of play. We weren’t rushed and we were able to play at a good pace.

Enjoyed the course

We enjoyed playing the course even though the temperature reached 100 degrees. The course was in good condition and the staff was friendly. Lack of on- course restrooms was disappointing and there wasn’t a beverage cart operating during our round.
