This is a nice course and fun layout.

The course was in great shape. The overseeing is only done on the important parts and looked and played well. The greens were in good shape and very few were showing excessive wear/ball marks

considering the golf traffic the course gets. If you are more interested in the golf versus club house venue, then this is a great value.

Great layout and value

Based on the price I wasn't expecting much, The neighborhood/pro-shop weren't very fancy, but I was very pleasantly surprised at the course layout and conditions. They layout is challenging, with a lot of water to deal with, very fast and smooth greens. Wished I had played this round earlier in my stay, so I could have returned. Would definitely recommend over many of the other nearby courses that are much more expensive and not nearly as fun (challenging) to play.

Long distances between holes

For the money this time of year in Palm Springs, an “adequate” value. Be prepared for very ling distances between holes, especially the back nine. No

club House refreshments or food; only run of the mill vending machine oriented choices.

Budget Gem

Overall decent conditions. Greens were good and tee boxes well grasses.

Scenic layout, not an easy course for beginners.

Great value for money.

Rather slow pace of play. Marshall came around to apologize.

My wife and I play a round here whenever we visit Palm Springs it’s a challenging course and reasonably priced. It is challenging enough for the above average player

Good Value

No it is not a Jack Nicholas course, but it doesn’t have Jack Nicholas pricing. We booked this course as a last minute change due to incoming weather. Cost was reasonable for a weekend. Starter was very informative and helpful. Front nine was pretty open, while back nine had more water hazards. Our round was 4.5 hours as we were behind a foursome (we were a twosome) which would be pretty standard. Course condition was fine.

OK

This course has gone down in the past few years but still playable. Greens were OK and fairways were green. Restaurant has closed.

Storm damage still evident three years later.

Gold was great value for the money

If you are here just for playing golf it is a great value. The only poor condition for a golf course was the sand traps. They were all very cheap compacted and wet so it’s hard to play out of them. Otherwise it is a great value course. Don’t expect any amenities however. It’s pretty bare bones for a golf club and definitely not a resort course with all sorts of extras. But you get what you pay for which is a pretty decent course for a value price.

Beautiful Mountain Views

This was a beautiful course. We felt it was challenging with the water and sand traps, but doable for mediocre golfers. We really enjoyed the mountain views. The carts were great. We did not go inside so we are not aware of the amenities. Would really appreciate ball washers on the course.

Nice for the price

Greens and fairways are in best shape in years. Sand traps are in rough shape. Guys in the Pro Shop are very accommodating and the older gentleman who is the starter is a pleasure to meet and start your round offf. Best course in the Desert for the price. About $80.00 for 18 holes.
