Amazing Course
I played here with 2 buddies while on vacation for a friend's birthday, and what an experience it was. The course conditions are immaculate, the design is fantastic, pace of play was great, and everyone was super friendly. It was just the right amount of challenge to be fun without being discouraging. Greens were fast but true and fair. Scenery and wildlife on the course were a huge plus. I live 2 hours away, and I might have to make a day trip back just to play it again soon!
Very Nice Course
The playing conditions were absolutely perfect. The fairways were well maintained. However, some of the tee boxes were in poor shape and the greens were just punched, which made the putts hard to gauge. Overall, the golf course is of good quality.
Great Foothills golf Course
I played this course 15 years ago and still found it to be fun.. the course conditions were very good and staff were friendly and helpful.
Challenging and fun course
Course is in good shape and buy a yardage book as the course is unique in it’s layout & the carts don’t have gps. Bring an extra sleeve of balls and have fun.
Great layout
Always enjoy playing this course!
Great test of golf. Through golf
Now great deal
Love the course
It was great fun, despite the greens just been punched and sanded.
We still had fun and the course is in great shape.
Very disappointed
This was my worst golf experience in my life. The greens were aerated the day before I went golfing and there was so much sand on the greens you cannot even see the grass. It was like putting on the beach. Most time you look forward to putting on the greens but not this time it was miserable I wish I could’ve got my money back I would like to go again when the greens are nice they didn’t tell me ahead of time but the greens were in such bad shape very disappointing
Amazing
Always enjoy playing this course very well maintained nice layout highly recommended this course
excellent pro shop and restaurant facilities
course conditions were excellent, tee boxes , fairways , greens were a joy
A wonderful round with fall foliage
Played monday shotgun. Pace was good. The green speed was finally more manageable for my game compared to the 12-13 speed last time I played.
The course is now surrounded by the fall colors and the temperature is in the high 60s -- perfect fall golf round.
I appreciate the beauty of this course a lot more. I always play both greenhorn and copper-valley when I come up. compared to copper-valley, Greenhorn is much more demanding (and ego-rewarding) on accurate tee shots and the green is less undulated to read more easily. Copper-valley has more wider fairways but greens are more undulated / uneven to manage.
Greenhorn has more memorable holes to me (when my tee shots are accurate to put me in attack positions) but scores are less memorable. I usually shot lower at Copper-valley. Both are wonderful great courses with different flavors and both require my A games.
Awesome course!
Always have a good time playing this course. I just wished that they offered a aerification discount this time around. But we’ll be back maybe after 3 weeks and hopefully it’ll be in a much better condition.
Sanded greens without warning
This course charged full price with no mention of top-dressed greens. I generally don't like to pay full resort prices to play a non-course. Also, 80% of the course is overwatered. So perfect fall day, full resort fees. Terrible conditions. Couldn't hit from the wet-sponge fairways to the beachy greens. SUPER SUCKY EXPERIENCE.
Fast greens valley course
The course is not long has quite a few narrow holes that demand accurate tee or approach shots. The hardest part is the VERY FAST greens making birdies difficult. Conditions are pretty good but I did encounter a few bare spots on the fairways. Overall a very nice course that worth a second visit with more knowledge of the holes. The worst part is the short game practice area which was not maintained well.
Very nice course
Very resort feeling with many wide and playable fairways. Because of Covid the course only is able to offer the basic amenities, totally understandable.
The day we played we ran into some very very slow foursomes and this could have been solved with players assistants/marshals. That was my only criticism.
Beautiful Course in shabby condition.
We have played here in years past, it is a beautiful course. Areas of torn up grass on fairways and other areas need maintenance. The greens were uniformly very nice
