Hole #12 I believe. Photo submitted by Trailerteri on 04/03/2013
Great Value
Awesome starter and friendly staff. Excellent pace of play. Good mix of hole layouts.
Worth the money
For being in the heat of the summer , this course was In great shape, greens rolled great, I was greeted on the first hole letting me know course layout , plus GPS was a great help , can't wait to play this great layout again
Fun
This one of two courses is more suited to those with no need to challenge distance (if you are then back tees or other course is for you) Playing middle/foreward tees was right for 15 handicap. What is neat is almost every hole is different. There are 3 or 4 holes that maybe considered hard but for the most part just follow the fairway and course is very playable. For avarage golfer this could be considered a upscale course and well worth the price. If possibel try playing in off season (such as summer) a little more time to enjoy the course.
Forgiving and Fun Track
I played this track the day after I played the PGA West Stadium Course (awesome) and it was a total change of pace. This course isn't too challenging and is very forgiving. I particularly loved the driveable par-4 12th hole.
This scenery around this course is amazing. With the mountains, palm trees, and on-course water, make sure to bring your camera!
The staff here was very nice. Everyone was helpful, and we saw the cart-guy plenty of times. They even handed us ice cold towels (watermelon scented!).
For anyone who is looking to enjoy the beautiful backdrops of Palm Springs and make your way around a golf course with ease, this is your place!
Great Celebrity Course
Course is in great condition for summer season. Greens are a little "crusty" but still roll very true. Some of the tee boxes from the Cabernet tees need a little trim but nothing terrible.
The course has a great layout and appealing to the eye with water features and mountain backdrop.
Little confusion with the starter and played behind 2 twosomes but he was very friendly and laid out some of the features of the course which is nice.
Guys in pro shop were also very friendly and helpful.
Great day! Would love to play again next time in Palm Desert
Great experience
I had heard that this was one of the top five to play in PS. They were right. Excellent condition. Pace was well managed. Marshall was very helpful and delivered cold wet towels at about the 13th hole (it was 107 degrees out). Course was in excellent shape. Liked it enough to play again a couple days later.
The Best
Always in great condition. One of the very best to play in Palm Springs area.
Excellent course that is challenging no matter which oh the longest set of tees that you play. I moved up to the mid 6,500 +\- tees now that age and distance not as robust as when I was younger. Greens fairly tough to read and quite fast downhill. This and the Celebrity course two of the best Palm Desert area courses a visitor can play. Could have played in about 2.5 hours if not held up by a foursome of players who should have been playing shorter tees.
excellent course
Enjoyed a great course. Though hot (105), it was still fund, due to the course condition and the pace of play. will come back again.
outstanding
This is one is one of the best courses I've ever played!!. Wonderful design, not too long (I've played form yellow) so it's perfect for holiday golf. The fairways, greens, service on and off the course are outstanding.
The layout is very intersting and just beautiful with the mountains. 10/10
Great course
excellent condition.
Enjoyed it a lot.
Will come back and play again!
Great Course, love the vegetation
Really nice course. Friendly personnel, the course was in really nice shape. Just a twosome, played steady, caught up with a foursome on 15. Would play again!
Nice Course and Less Difficult than Many
The course was in nice condition and attractive. Not overly difficult, and actually fairly short. Would play this course again.
One of the Best in the valley
I would have to rate this one of the tops I have played in the valley. The fairways were immaculate always giving you a great lie. There was lots of flowers and weil manicured shrubbery. Lots of great views and a challenging course with tee boxs and length suited to your skill level. We were teamed with another couple who kept the pace so we were done in under four hours. Staff were friendly and came and filled your drinks with more ice. Greens were true, held well and were in great condition.
