Thoroughly enjoyed Del Monte
Played Del Monte for the second time after many years and I had forgotten what a beautiful setting it is.
An excellent day
It was a great day all around
I was paired up with two nice local gentleman who were helpful since it was my first time playing the course
the course was in great shape and the pace of play was good
the greens are in great condition and every putt tools true if not in
Good time, will come back again
First timer here. I had a really good time playing here. I’m a high handicap (20), but I had a blast here. Greens were smaller than I’m used to but the Course itself is pretty straightforward. Its pretty cool to have a course of historical significance in our backyard. Since Pebble is out of my prices and skill range, I definitely look forward to coming back.
good day out
Played with two friends, great time in perfect weather. Restaurant was closed, other than that, great.
Course conditions
The course was beautiful. The fairways and greens were in great shape. Greens have a few surprises called undulations that added a bit of a challenge as well. There were a number of side areas and carries that were all browned out or barren altogether. Drought conditions I assume. Was quite the challenge for first timers but had a blast. We will definitely one back to this course as it was definitely worth the money.
Not a fun day
No driving range, incredibly slow pace of play, costs $50 extra for a cart on top of a pricey fee and holes so close together you risk getting hit with errant shots.
We quit after 16 holes....
Great Day
Some dry areas on the fairways but overall very good. Greens were true. Weather was beautiful. I will be back soon
No Beverage cart on hot sunny day!!!
Beautiful sunny day in a great course!! On the front 9 saw the beverage cart about 3 times wasn’t thirsty yet when I got to back 9 and lot warmer no sign of beverage cart at all and all of the back when on like that!!! I know there are a couple of water stations throughout the course but yet!! You want more than just waters when playing with friends
Good round of golf
We enjoyed our first round of golf at this popular course.
The course was well maintained though the greens were bumpy and thus seemed to offer inconsistent breaks.
Overall, we'd positively recommend this course.
One disappointing fact was that the price we paid for this round thru Golfpasspaas (our first time using them too) was higher than what we would have paid had we booked directly with the course. Also, the price offered by GolfPass did not include cart fees.
Hence, in future we cannot trust GolfPass to offer superior value, versus booking directly with a course, and for that reason we will likely not use them in future.
Great course
Conditions on the course where great even though it had punched greens and some fairways they still ran and rolled better than some courses that don’t have punched greens or fairways. Looking forward to going back.
