Great day playing the course is in excellent shape and the staff in the pro shop is outstanding ⛳️
Old Course
The greens and fairways had a lot of sand as it is winter. It rained so it made it less enjoyable, but overall great course and people. Every green is by the next tee box which is different from many I play. Narrow fairways is the most challenging of the course along with small greens that are a plus and a minus. Reading them was a bit difficult as some were fast, some slower to roll, but overall a great value and experience.

Everyone was very welcoming at the course. The starter was very helpful with anything I needed as well. I can’t remember his name, but he was very friendly.
Winter Red
A single out but played with some regulars - forward tees. Tee changed allow more iron play which helped sharpen the game. Pass on the "very basic cart - no wifi - no GPS! and walk.
Great Course
I just love this course and it’s always been in great condition. But the greens will test your skills.
nice golf course with a classic layout with beatiful views
Del Monte Golf Course, is a nice golf course with a classic layout with beatiful views . The course features well-maintained greens, challenging fairways, It layout is relatively forgiving , and has a great view of the bay. There were some dry grass patches throughout the course.There is also no range to warm up prior to the round. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would recommend Del Monte for those visiting Monterey, its a solid golf course.

Got out late because of frost delay. But great course. In pretty good shape staff was top notch..dont miss playing here
Perfect, if you're a gopher.
I've been playing here for 40 years. They've given up tying to maintain the course. It's basically a giant gopher field with 18 stripes of green. I'll take a guess and say that with 100 gopher holes per hole, there are around 1,800 gopher holes. Could be 3,000. They need to change their carts to dune buggies.
