Course was in very poor shape. No green in the greens. Like putting on asphalt.
WORST COURSE EVER
WHERE TO START 1ST HOLE ON MOUNTAIN COURSE PIN IN SAME SPOT FOR AT LEAST A MONTH BUT I THINK IT IS MARCH OF 2023 WILL NOT GO BACK
Worse than a goat farm
Do not waste your time or money coming here. This course is the worst I have ever played and I play alot with a 4 handicap I know the game. I have been here several times in the past and remember this to be a beautiful course. Not anymore. It is obvious the owner has lost interest. The signature hole use to be so nice he has let that hole and the next turn to crapThe cost to play for the condition it is in is ridiculous. The fairways haven’t been watered in who knows how long. They are hard as concrete, the bunkers are not raked and no rakes to even do so. The greens are as shaggy as the fairways. The flags don’t fit in the cup and are severely crooked.
Pretty sad to let what use to be a gem deteriorate to what it is
Go somewhere else for a good game because it is not here
Poor condition
The course is in terrible condition. Fairways are mostly dead grass an have not been cut in some time. Greens are in even worse shape. Mixture of dead grass and dirt spots. Impossible to roll a good put. Pins have not been moved in some time so holes are all worn down and growing over the cup. Not worth the price they are charging
Last time playing
Very poor, was like flushing money down the toilet
Maintenance turned sprinklers on all day.
Worst golf experience ever. Charlie, you’re the GM. You need to get a hold of your guys. I hope the course condition is not a reflection of your management style. The untamed greens was the best part. It was better than any service I received there from anybody. Joe and the pro shop did not open up till almost 615. I scheduled a teatime at 6 AM. The sprinklers were turned on several times while in we play. I called and complain to Joe in the clubhouse several times. Just to get a very nonchalant response of “I will get management on it”. The final straw was halfway down the fairway 17, approaching the greens. Maintenance workers (cart #61 & #56)turn the sprinklers on the greens. As you could see in the video/photos. When I ask them why they turned them they just laughed. I called the pro shop. Joe said I could talk with Charlie. When I got there 10 minutes later, of course Charlie was not there and I was told he was not coming back. To email the photos and video I have to accounting. Everyone there was extremely unprofessional. I do understand you get what you pay for but some professionalism would’ve been nice. I would definitely like my money back.
WE have played Indian Palms three times in the last three weeks and the pins on the greens have not been changed within that period of time. Not a lot of grass on the fairways and the rough uncut so had trouble finding a ball. The greens had little grass and lots of bare spots and pin holes were extra wide with rounded edges because the pins had not been changed.Would not recommend this course for anyone to play.
course
rather poor condition/ Could not believe the cups and flags on the Mountain course/ cups wore out and would not hold flags straight and the cups themselves were absolutely wretched from people digging out balls with their putter
Very poor shape - avoid
We used to enjoy this course but now it’s absolutely atrocious. The greens are bumpy. The fairway is OK. The surrounding areas around tea boxes at the end of the edge of some homes are overgrown and full weeds patchy just total disrepair. The pro shop was closed by 1 PM. There is no cart person selling drinks or food and no idea if the restaurant was open they seem to one person behind the bar but busy chatting with others…. Very disappointed.
Course in rough shape
Played this course 11/18/2023
Indian course was closed. Mountain course had terrible burned greens patchy grass just like the practice green. The royal course just opened but I was told by an owner that the courses weee in terrible shape and the owner of the course doesn’t care.
Shame actually because it would be a beautiful course if maintained properly.
I will see if the overweening changes the playability of this course later in the season.
We played the Mountain/Royal. The Mountain was in horrible shape, the Royal was actually in good shape. The light rain started on the Mountain on the 8th hole and continued until we were on the 7th hole of the Royal.. Also, the golf shop was not open, the bartender had to check us in
“Dead” Indian Palms
Local tribes should petition to have the word “Indian” removed as an affront to native peoples.
The course was in horrible shape. On the 2nd 9 we couldn’t even find tee boxes so we just used the yardage on the card to approximate where the tee box should be. The tee markers we could find were totally different from the first 9. The flags looked as though they had not been moved since the Nixon administration and many were missing tips to keep the upright in the hole.
The grass anywhere on the course was DEAD! You expect to have over seed, winter rye, darn near anything other than just dead.
The people at the course were pleasant enough. The carts were oddly enough, new?!
Other than that…if you’ve seen the movie, “Get Out”, do!
Terrible course.
Played for the 1st time. Terrible conditions, No grass in the fairways.
Greens were pot marked
Tee marker missing on most tee boxes.
Needs some TLC
Overall, the course was in pretty poor condition. A few of the tee boxes had only one marker, with one without any, the fairways were mainly brown grass or no grass at all and were difficult to hit from and the greens were a mixture of green and brown grass with some bare patches.
Not a particularly good experience which was a shame as the course itself was quite well laid out with some interesting holes.
Needs a bit of attention!
