Played the blues royal & mountain rotation. We teed off b4 7am 1st out. First hole was brutal full on direct eye singe into the sun . The fairways are average but the greens are in good shape rolling about an 11 and accepting good approaches. My boy Steve won the skins match first time in over a year dudes been our punching bag for a long time. Congrats Stevie!!!
A great Coarse To Start The Year
Played Royal & Mountain today in perfect weather at 87 F. The coarse was in decent condition and the greens were all in very good condition. No one was ahead or behind us and that was a bonus. All in all a good day.
Worth the Money!
IPCC is a very good course for all levels of golfers. It is one of the best values in the Coachella Valley. I would recommend it to all golfers.
It also has a wonderful history.
The Royal course was a little dry. The mountain course was much better. The sand traps at both were terrible. They had not been worked in a long time. Was luke hotting off compacted dirt. If they tKe care if the bunkers it would have been much more enjoyable.
It was a fun course to play but needs to be spruced up around the fairways and some greens
Indian is a bit dated and narrow. Royal has more character and dog legs. Greens were in great condition on both courses. I am a relatively new part-time resident in the Indian Palms community where these courses reside. Played with my wife, brother in law and sister in law. A good layout to challenge a few of us yet playable for beginners.
Old School Desert Course
Went out with a couple of buddies today to play here, we enjoyed it plenty of laughs with all the staff members we engaged with, course is older so the fairways are not wide & plenty of homes do come into play, greens on both 9 hole sides were great (Indian & Royal)
I would play here again, the rate was good for this time of year.
Need to be straight or your ball will end up in someone’s pool or patio.
Wish Covid didn’t have its current effect on courses as I think once things return to normal this would really be a fun place to play & hangout after your round.
This course is decently laid out but has some narrow holes. There are 27 holes here. The greens were mowed tight but still a bit lumpy with tightly mowed grass and smooth dirt filler. The greens were about 70% grass and 30% dirt. The entire course is about what you’d expect at a poorly run municipal course with broken concrete cart paths, weeds, lots of dirt patches and muddy places everywhere. Unfortunately, it’s just a run down course that could be excellent if the owners or management put some effort, funds and pride into the conditions of the course. But, it’s cheap golf and like the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, it’s also a place where high handicappers give “on course” lessons to their first time playing friends. SLOW PLAY is the norm.
Nice course, fair condition, slow pace no Marshall. I like the challenge but the pace can be disruptive.
I’m a very average golfer and this course fits my needs. The price is unbeatable, nice staff.
It’s inexpensive. There’s a reason for that. There’s better courses for just a little bit more money. If a cheap quick round is what your after then this is the place. It is tires and not well kept.
Course for all ages!
It's a great place to play and bring your family to participate in the game. It's also a wonderful place for fellow friends and golfers to play and enjoy a historical course.
