The 11th is a TOUGH par-4 with great elevation and a false fronted green. Use enough club! Photo submitted by greebs on 07/20/2020

Yes, the 18th is a par-3. Get over it, and enjoy yet another perfect hole to finish your round. Photo submitted by greebs on 07/20/2020

The par-4 14th. A great example of what makes this course special. Notice the hillocks and hummocks on the left side of the fairway. Otherwise, this would be a mundane hole, but this addition collects tee shots and makes the approach interesting. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

Makenzie called the par-4 16th the greatest two-shotter in the world, largely due to the three-tiered green. No room for error long, short or right. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

From behind the 11th green, one of the most difficult par 4s I've ever played. Requires two-to-three clubs up on approach. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

Excellent course!
One of my favorite courses in California! Even with all of the rain the fairways were in excellent condition. Amazing design!
Back nine only
Back nine only, had to play it twice, due to front nine being closed down.
Paid 515.00 for two, back nine only.
Back nine only
The back nine holes were open. Front nine is closed.
Played on a wet & windy day. Standing water on fairways & many greens after the atmospheric river weather had passed through. Still enjoyed a very challenging round of golf. $40 per person for cart (with no golf bag cover for rain) was very steep adder to golf pricing
Awesome
I’ve been coming to Pasatiempo since I played junior golf in the 70’s (ok I’m an old) The course is one of my favorites in the world and never has once left me disappointed. I have recommended it to so many friends playing the Pebble Beach area and everyone of them has come back marveling at the layout and conditions. It’s not to be missed if you are in the area
An amazing but humbling experience
The course tests you early and often. The slopes are much greater than what I experience at home. I missed the green at 16 long by no more than 2 feet. Even if I had my A game that day, I'm not sure I could've kept the ball on the level. The rough is think and sticky. That was probably the most fun 8 I've ever made. The greens were hard for me to read (thank goodness for a great caddie) but rolled incredibly well and true. The staff's hospitality and service were absolutely amazing. As soon as I can get there after the course reopens, I'll be thrilled to play Pasa again.
Yes, Pasatiempo is a fabulous golf course. While it is great that such an amazing design is accessible to the public, one should not expect the “member for a day” treatment despite the premium greens fee. This has always been the case, but my most recent experience was especially frustrating. It took close to 5 hours to play 16 holes, and our group played the 16th in the dark. Marshalls were not the least bit apologetic, and the staff took no initiative to recognize the slow play and subpar experience. I’m lucky that I am local and have had the opportunity to play multiple times - if I were visiting from afar and this was my one chance to play, I would be absolutely livid.
WOW!
What a course. This has been on my bucket list for a while and Im glad I made it out here. What an amazing course. The greens - WOW! Its pricey for sure, but play it once - youll be hooked. I live on the other side of the country, but if Im ever back, I will be coming back!
Nice course conditions. Pretty good layout. I walked and it was a decent walking course. Greens were in great shape. Not sure if I would pay $350 but definitely worth checking out once. A lot of blind tee shots. Accurate tee shots pays off and being on the right tier on the greens.
Great Deal
Course had just completed an aerating but it was hardly noticeable given it wasn’t a plugging effort. Course was in good shape and the rough was fairly long. Still need to do something about the crossover from 12 to 14 as there is a hold up if the timing is right and players coming down on 12 interfere with those teeing off on 14. Even a sign telling those on 12 to help the speed of play by not holding those teeing off of 13.
Never disappoints
My favorite course never disappoints. Drove from Tahoe just for a day trip to play 18, turned around and went home after. Love this course.
Very difficult course
I knew before teeing it up that this was going to be a real challenge. First time players need to keep this in mind.
What;'s your point? The course is undergoing a well-publicized rennovations the green complexes. This fact is hihglighted on the club's website. Regardless, you got to play the most iconic holes on the course twice at a significant discoumt to the 18-hole rate as of Spring 2023. 3 star rating? C'mon, man! We all know you were ball-in-pocket on holes No. 11 and No. 16. Forget about it! Pasatiempo is a masterpiece Why don't you come back in 2024 to play the full course after the renno is complete? Then you can pay full freight, which will probablly be $400+per man, or~$3.85/stroke in your case (not incl tax).
