Really enjoyed our round at Rams Hill on a very windy day, mostly 2-club wind with 3-club wind on the last 6 holes. The wind didn’t matter, it was still a glorious day on a gorgeous course. The course conditions have improved a lot since last year when the fairways were subpar. Way mo better this year.

The 3 opening holes are tough, with the triple whammy of long, uphill and into the wind.

But the course opens up after that, …offering a nice mix of long and short par-4s, and enjoyable par-3s and par-5s.

The layout is engaging and the service by the staff is outstanding as usual. We’ll be back.

Second time there and great staff, practice facility, and Tacos on the turn!!

They still have a few fairways that are struggling in patches with the fungal issue. But much better then last year. I wish it was perfect but it’s not enough to miss this track!!

Rams Hill has the best layout in the area, and that includes all the way to Palm Springs. In the past , course conditions were not ideal. They made a concerted effort to improve this, and it shows. Not quite at 100%, but greens are good and fairways are also, except for a few holes. It is always enjoyable, and for the life of me, I can’t figure out why more people don’t make the drive down to play. But every time we come to the desert, we always include Rams Hill in our course rotation.

I have played this course since the mid-1980's but this is the first time since the new ownership/ new layout. It is impressive! The course is in great shape and very challenging. I really enjoyed playing here

Rams Hill is one of our favourite courses down here. This year in spite of having put a lot of money into improvement they are having problems with some parts of the fairways. The layout is awesome. The views are impressive. The badlands on the way down to Borrego Springs are really something to be seen. We will definitely return.

I played this course before Covid and it was in better shape then . This is beautiful course to play ,fairways are wide and scenery spectacular. We got on the course at 12.30 and they put a twosome behind our foursome . So after 3 holes we let them play through . Then behind them was a single . He disappeared after a. 6 more holes . Then after 9 holes a twosome drove through us and must have joined the twosome we let through earlier . Guys we were paired up with were slow as well so we spent the day keeping them going . . Sat on the foursome on front us for last 6 holes and finished at 5.20 . Marshall was no where to be seen after the 4 th hole .

Great course with lots of sand traps! Very fast undulating greens. The wind was up so it definitely increased the challenge. Complimentary street tacos at the turn were a surprise. Also gave me a cookie as I was departing.

Had not made the drive down in a few years, so decided to head down and play again. The course is a fun and moderately challenging track, abundant bunkers, some water hazards, and very pleasing scenery and ambience. In this regard, it compares very favorably with courses about an hour away in the Palm Springs area. However, for with their charging for green fees, course conditions should be better and it falls behind similarly priced courses in the Palm Springs area. Fairways had some damaged areas from what appeared to be the abundant rain they have had the last 6 months or so. Tee boxes were a bit on the rough side, and some greens looked like they had a bit of a tough time filling in from overseeing. Nothing was horrible, but should be better given the green fees. Sti

Great place in the middle of the nowhere! Tom Fazio design is incredible, great conditions, the most wonderful staff, and free tacos, with a free cookie to end the round!! I’ll be back, and hopefully soon!

The hype is real!

With so many options in PS I don’t think I’d make the drive again. It was always on my list and glad I went but it’s in the middle of nowhere.

Challenging layout and green complexes, but fair. Peaceful & quiet, some houses around the course but at a distance. There were a few patchy areas of fairway here & there that they were working on, but all things considered the course conditions were excellent. Attentive, helpful staff, free tacos at the turn and a free cookie after 18. Great experience all around.

Love Fazio courses and this one especially. Really nice layout. Great views. Conditions were better when I played here in November 2022, but they rebuilt most or all fairways this past summer and I think it needs more time to fully take. Pace of play was a bit slower than normal but still finished under 4.5 hours. Well worth the drive through the desert to get here!
