Never Again
Amazingly gorgeous course. Has a few holes ON the Pacific Ocean which are amazing.
Unfortunately it was backed up more than any course I’ve ever seen. We’d run into 2-4 other golf carts at every tee box.
After it taking 3.5 hours for only 9 holes, we left. Never again.

Excellent staff makes for an excellent experience
Golf shop staff I had the pleasure to interact with included Frank, Josh, Renee, and Tony. I was in the shop several times - setting up my round, prior to play, and shopping for my boys.
All 4 were very professional and set the stage for a great golf outing.
Thank you to the MBR golf staff for such a great experience.
And, the course was fun, challenging, and a perfect spot to play some great golf.

Beautiful course in Laguna
To start the course is in very nice shape, the greens were excellent, a bit fast and rolled perfect. The staff was friendly and were there to support you and made you feel welcomed. I really had a blast playing this course I would give it a total recommendation for anyone in the area especially if staying at the Ritz and looking to get in a round on a great course.

Exceptionally attentive staff, accessible course for all levels of players, scenic views, mostly fine conditions. The course is walkable, a rarity for a resort course. Fun place to play.

Monarch Beach
Course in poor condition. Marshall was useless in helping pace of play or those hitting into us (due to pace of play). Not a $200/ round golf course.

Thank you for taking the time to rate your experience. As you know, we are experiencing a colder & wetter than normal winter which has resulted in our Bermuda grass growing at a very slow pace. Our greens are in great shape, but when you mean poor condition, I assume you are referring to some bar spots in the fairways. We hope you can visit us again in our warmer months to experience better conditions. As for our marshal's and the group hitting into you, that is unacceptable in our opinion. Our Head Golf Professional or Director of Golf will be reaching out to discuss this matter further and make it right. Once again, thank you for taking the time to review your visit.

Awesome Course!
Awesome course! Great view and beautiful amenities and friendly staff! Would definitely recommend it as a must play course! Bravo!
3 Birdies
With a 11 handicap I tied my record of 3 birdies in a round. I played a month after the greens had been reseeded and they are perfect! The greens are rolling true. Fairways are like vacuumed carpet. Beautiful ocean views, especially on the signature hole #3. The staff is attentive to all my requests and very kind. Get the crab cakes on turn.

This course had some beautiful views. Holes 3 & 4 were phenomenal. The GPS on the Golf carts were annoying. Way too many advertisements not much information about the course layout or distance on each shot. First time playing MB. Staff was friendly. Food was really good. Snack shack is after the 5th hole which was different. Overall experience was good.
