Mount Shasta Resort is one of California's rare four-season resorts. Because of its ideal location at the base of Mount Shasta in NoCal 258 miles north of San Francisco, guests can enjoy the outdoors skiing, fishing, hiking, swimming, climbing or playing golf on the 6,035-yard course. At 3,500 feet above sea level, the elevation will help you hit it just a little farther. Chalet accommodations come equipped with a kitchen, dining room, deck and living room with a gas fireplace. Vacationers can also relax at the day spa and dine at the clubhouse restaurant.Facts

Don’t miss this course!
This course was awesome! Difficult but enjoyable layout. Incredible views! They had nearly a dozen people working on the course. It is well worth the money and the 3.5 hours to play.
Weather was great
It’s only one hour 25 minutes from Redding and the staff allowed us to get an earlier start time as we arrived two hours early and we didn’t affect the flow of the game. Paid more attention to the view then my golf game as it’s very picturesque from all the tees.

Hilly, tough, but beautiful
The staff at checkin was helpful and polite. It was a Wednesday and we practically had the course to ourselves. We spent a lot of time looking for tee balls, lol, as the fairways are somewhat narrow with trees lining them like most mountain courses. We took a cart and I'm glad we did, it's very hilly.
The views of Mt Shasta were spectacular. The greens were perfect, the rough was lush.

Hit it straight
Good course, well maintained but you have to hit the ball in play. Blackberry bushes are unforgiving. I will have to play again to get to know the course there is a lot of blind hitting up and down hills.

The Majestic Mount Shasta
So beautiful totally green everything is really well watered. Mount Shasta is framed with many holes. It’s maybe one of the prettiest golf courses on the West Coast.

Perfect day
The overall condition of the course was good. Recently the greens were verta cut so they were still healing. It helps to have course knowledge because there are a lot of blind shots. I would definitely play there again
