A lot of history
This was one of the courses on my bucket list and I finally found a good rate. The course is very nice and the staff is wonderful, and at $60 I'd probably be back. The rack rate however is very high, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. There are many comparable courses for half the price.
Great course, great golf, great day
Couldn't have ask for more. Great value through GN.
Crazy and great
Very strange and crazy check in. Need a better parking and check in for average golfers.
Great course and gps. Staff was perfect. A must for all golfers. Just getting to 1st tee a little crazy. Easy to get lost. Very crowded, it is a resort with lots going on. Give extra check in time.
Course was great and very fun. Price is high , but worth it.
Immaculate Course
My friend and I played at this course and it was in immaculate condition. The fairways were amazing, the greens were amazing, and the sand traps were in tip top shape. We both think this course is the best either one of us has ever played at and we have played on many golf courses on both the east and west coast.
Great fun course
Course is very interesting with lots of nice challenges. Make sure to get the "tips sheet" from the pros shop of you haven't played it before.
We played 18 and enjoyed it so much we went back out for the front 9 again.
Nice Course
Very interesting course. First few holes after number one seemed the most difficult to me. Very frustrating at times for a high handicapper like me. Bring extra balls for sure.
Most friendly and helpful staff I've encountered at a golf course anywhere. Glad I did it once but for the money, even the discounted rate on Golf Now, I wouldn't do it more than once a year at most. From LA it's a tough 2 hour drive with weekday traffic . Course played fast on a Monday. We had twosomes in front of us and behind. Don't expect the lush fairways you get in Palm Springs.
If you're looking for a course just as interesting but a bit longer and some might say tougher especially on a normal windy day... try
La Purisima between Buellton and Lompoc. The two courses seem similar in many ways to me.
Truly a Gem
Played at noon with 2 friends. staff was great. took time to show us gps on golf cart which worked great. Golf course is awesome and not much more to say.......Thank you Ojai CC and GolfNow
Ojai Valley Inn and Sap
Great staff and course conditions. The whole course and surrounding areas are beautiful. Greens running true and are difficult but fun. It is a joy to play here and I highly recommend it!!! It a top notch golf experience!!!
Great course! Can't wait to do it again!
Great experience-staff was very friendly.Course was in great shape.
All around fantastic experience. Make a weekend out of it.
This resort is an overall gem. Very relaxed and beautiful. Can't wait to get back.
The course is pretty challenging but well-balanced. Truly picturesque. Rolling hills, mountain views. Feels like a day in nature.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. It's nice that practice range is included in your round. The range itself is very well maintained. All grass, no mats.
There are several restaurants on the resort, but the pub near the golf course is fantastic. They've got a great patio, top-notch food and drinks.
FYI
This is a Beautiful course and very challenging. If you dont live here and dont use golfnow.com you will pay $180.00 to play locals pay $89.00 but with Golfnow.com I paid $55,00 plus 44.95 What a great deal. I am so lucky to live here but i would recommend this place to everyone whom wants a hugh treat. If you are a duffer bring lots of balls.
Ojai Experience
Just love this course! Played two days in a row!
It is challenging for a 24 handicapper, but fun!
A return visit
Course is really well kept, and challenging. This was a returned visit, and it was a pleasant experience. Next time I'll bring my sons.
Great course
I enjoy playing here... Good course... Great views... Awesome food!
Scenic gem
This course has a great layout. There are not a bunch of trees places willy nilly all over the place like a lot of courses. There are a select number of nice, mature trees that frame each hole in a unique manner. The mountains in the background and the great condition of the course are a bonus.
Kira's birthday
The only negative was the greens were punched & sanded. Which happens this time of year. I just wish we would have known.
Golf now should notify customers of course conditions
Ojai is a very nice course. Good layout and some challenging holes. The staff is top notch, very attentive and friendly. The course had just been punched a week ago so it was pretty bumpy on the greens. Fairways were pretty good, just had to move ball out if aeration holes. It would be helpful if GolfNow would give this info to a customer upfront so they are not surprised by the conditions when you arrive at the course.
Ojai Valley Inn
Really nice course, worth the Golf Now Hot Deal price.
One of my favorite courses
Greens were being aerated, but tee to green course was in great shape. Always a great round.
what's not to like?
If you love great scenery, a golf course designed by the same man who designed Riveria, Bel Aire, and many of the great golf courses in L.A. do not miss this one!
