Ojai Valley Inn

We love playing this course, not only for the challenge but the beauty that lies in and around the entire property. It's the type of round that we always wish didn't end after 18 holes! Well worth the price!

The course had just been aerated but the traps and fairways were excellent!

Firstly, finding parking and the pro shop is confusing if you never played the course. Ojai Valley Inn is a huge property . Once on the property, I followed the long winding road and signs to golf parking which had a couple of areas. Once I found parking, I called the reservation desk for assistance for directions to the pro shop. She was very helpful. A shuttle was sent out to pick me up and had taken me to the pro shop. Once there the staff had given me all the information that I needed to have a great round. The course layout is challenging on some holes but fair. Course familiarity is huge for landing spots and targets. The fairways are in excellent condition. The tee boxes are level for the most part. The greens are in excellent shape and fast. The pace was good. All the staff were nice and friendly, top-notch.

Don’t miss playing this course! Classic holes, beautiful views, friendly staff. We had a wonderful day on the course. Great avocado toast in The Oak!

This is a really nice course, the golf staff were extremely friendly. Only issues were multiple beat up tee boxes and.was a 5 hour round. I would play here again on a hot deal but not at the full $190 guest rate.

Overall 4.5. Positives: Memorable layout, spectacular views, overall great condition (greens ran a little slow). Well appointed locker room. Great price point for a classic course (twilight fee at 3:20 PM - more than enough time to finish). Nice GPS carts with bluetooth.

Could be better: parking is awkward... no bag drop and if you haven't been there before, not clear on how to proceed. Plenty of resort staff, but they ignore you if you're a daily fee player. Range is a bit beat up.

Beautiful setting and loved the layout, course conditions were really good.

Would have been a 5 star review, but, there definitely was a "pace of play" problem. I didn't see a single Ranger out trying to encourage Pace, so, our round end just short of 5 hours.

Had a great time playing this course. It had several challenging holes, but the cheat sheet they give you helped. We will return and play again.

Leisurely Monday round of golf with great pace of play. First time, so the Caddy Sheet was instrumental on the front nine where precision golf comes into play. Looking forward to playing this course again. The staff and the starter were super cool and friendly.

Extremely beautiful golf course, with plush fairways and immaculate greens. Always a destination we love to visit for our favorite sport. Hitting down #15 and gearing up for the challenging 3-Par #16 are two holes we particularly LOVE.

We love ojai valley inn but this golf game was not good. After an almost 3 hour 9 the staff put a foursome ahead of us . Apparently a celebrity. Not happy . Thx Brad it was also the hottest day of the year. 6 hour round. They need a starter.

Greens were not up to the expectations of a course at this price point

Kept the natural layout of the surroundings beautifully incorporating them within the course layout. Greens were excellent, food was excellent with generous portions at the grill

Played this course many times and never tire of its beauty or the challenges the course presents. Always well maintained and couldn't ask for friendlier staff!

In great condition, only complaints, cart person gave last call on the 2nd hole at 2:30 pm and there were range balls littered throughout every hole .
