Tucked within a coastal valley surrounded by the Topa Topa Mountains, the Ojai Valley Inn is an escape from it all, located just 14 miles from Pacific Ocean and 30 miles southeast of Santa Barbara. Its amenities are unique, a 31,000-square-foot spa village, an artist cottage and apothecary, a beekeeping experience, seven eateries, multiple pools and a scenic and playable golf course that has hosted pros and celebrities alike. Great time, great service
Staff are amazing and most of the time willing to accommodate to any of your needs. I always enjoy playing a round and eating dinner around town.
Simply beautiful
2 negatives: 1) the greens were recently aerated without mention of it. Found out on first green. 2) the parking is extremely limited. Thankfully as I pulled into the designated golf parking someone was just leaving. If that didn’t happen, I have no idea where I would’ve parked and this is the Covid influenced off season.
Other than that the conditions were excellent . Scenery is like no other course. The holes are challenging, definitely need some local knowledge on where to hit tee shots to have a clear shot at the green.
I’ve played here 3 other times over the last 15 years so not frequently, but each time I play, I don’t want the round to end. I highly recommend playing here
Great old course layout
Great course layout but not a fan of #1. It does not seem original to the course nor feel similar to the rest of the course.
Come for the golf, stay for the scenery
Excellent course layout. Challenging holes but incredible views throughout!
Unhappy customer
Very disappointed for the price I paid! Greens were under repair and fairways are not as I expected for what’s my money’s worth. I’m hoping I get some consolations back out of this bad experience.

The course is in kind of rough shape but we love it anyway...see you in a few months
Loved the layout
I was a Rater for Golfweek for several years and have been in the business of designing, building and operating golf courses for over 50 years. I loved the course and would have given it a high rating if I was still rating. I plan to play the course again.
