Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa

The check in was pleasant but that it all fell off after that. The starter was gruff and non explanatory. The course plays over a drainage wash over and over again. Our golf cart ran out of power on the 14th hole and the pro shop was closed so we had to abandon the round. We barely got it back to the start and thought we were going to have to walk in. No one was present to complain to after the round. Employees around the cart return area were talking to regulars and ignored us and offered no post round services. You could not buy food or drink.

We played north and west course. West was an embarrassment-3-4 holes were awful-felt like they were under construction had trucks moving dirt around-what a mess. The holes without the mud were in awful condition. What a waste of money. The north course was in bad condition too. Horrible day of golf!

Definitely way overpriced considering the poor condition of the course. Fairways and greens ok but major storm washout, dirt/gravel bunkers and other rough areas put it currently in the dog track category.

Very welcoming staff. Started on time. Obviously course is recovering from some recent storm damage. Greens were in very good condition. Storm runoff areas have issues. Generally things were good.

We quite enjoyed the course! The only thing I could recommend is to have all washers at each hole. We didn’t see a single one.

We played Rancho for the first time. I had read previous reviews and knew that the course had some issues. I was still disappointed with the conditions of the course and the layout. Slow play certainly didn’t help.

Half the Course is played in a drainage ditch. They should pay the public to play this course.

Disappointed with trap condition

Hard packed sand
