Bunkers need a lot of work. Compacted damp sand. Lots of dirt. Greens were excellent.
Don’t overpay
Good track overall, played the South and North courses, and didn’t get to experience the West. Oddly enough, the first 3 holes on the South are in the basin that runs through the middle of the town, and that was very interesting. When I arrived, there were like 2 range balls left and had to wait several minutes for those to be refilled. Cart was missing cooler so had to replace that. Houses and the resort came into play nearly the whole time and felt very similar to our local country club course. Save the money and find a hot deal here or don’t pay full price!
Another great round.
This is one of our favorite courses to play when we come down to the desert, both because of the course (to include every staff member) and because of the fine folks who play there. We have always been paired with great people and today was no exception.
New local guy
Moved to the Palm Springs area 4 months ago and started playing the various courses around the valley. Would definitely return to this course
Challenging course. Conditions of grass was perfect
Course is a little "wonky" on a few holes. Seems like the holes were an afterthought but could have been due to some water damage on grass... hard to tell. Most of course had well maintained fairways and greens and beautiful water effects. Fun day, even though the wind was challenging for at least half the time. First time I ever saw a double-tiered water hazard on a par 3!
Beautiful course!
We had a fun round, playing with a couple from the same hometown as myself. The greens were fast and the fairways firm. The traps did not have rakes so we just move the balls out. Seemed fair to us!
Course was in great shape.
This is a nice course, with wide fairways and not to much difficulty. Staff was extremely friendly. I don't see this course as being a premium course in the area. I had a really good buy with a discount applied to the fee. I think the daily rate is high for the value of the course.
Good course
Fun course to play, tee box to greens in great shape.
Don't Bother
I've played this course many times, only because it's convenient for our foursome.
It's three Nines. If you get on the West nine, be prepared for one of the worst designs... every. It's goat ranch and makes no sense to run four holes through a "gully."
We played North/South. The greens on North were awful. Slow. The Greens on South might as well have been on another golf course.
The staff is excellent. The cocktail after the round was far and away the highlight.
Otherwise... Don't Bother.
thoroughly enjoyed
i played north and south courses...
well maintained fairways, roughs, bunkers and greens. friendly engaging staff. complimentary range and putting area same speed as actual greens.
most holes little elevation. a few were thru riverbeds—not my favs, but, fairways on hill-holes were consistent with others...well maintained
Nice course
It was nice.
People along the course were very nice when we hit balls I to their patio....
