Quick round
I played with another single early in the morning and finished 18 in a little over 2 hours. The course was in decent shape. Playing back and forth through the.wash is the course's biggest weakness. Not a bad course for the money.
Last Palmas
Starter was absent, No marshal, pace of
Play-very slow, other 4some tried cutting
In front of us!
Will not return!!
South course was very nice. Good condition, well designed (except for #9), and much enjoyed. The North course? A complete joke. Poorly designed, terrible condition, no fun….and then came the gale-like winds. Ugh!
beautiful Morning
greens were excellent. some muddy and bare areas on North course. Fairways need help.
Avoid the North 9!
This course has had its better days, and the West 9 was acceptable, but the North 9 is terrible. It goes back and forth across a muddy, smelly drainage ditch. On one fairway (if you can call it that), I looked around and saw four separate dirt piles. Visually, a mess. We quit after 5 holes. I was embarrassed that I had taken my visiting daughter to such a low-end course.
We were in one of the last foursomes of the day. When we finished, no staff around. Pro shop was closed.
Sunday Golf
First time playing Rancho Las Palmas. Very friendly staff. We were paired with another couple which made for an enjoyable afternoon. Course in rather scrubby condition, but the pace of play was very good.
Las Palmas
Starter was disorganized, No Marshall
so 4some in front of us did not keep, fell
2 holes behind! Course had water damage that Was not there fault but
was in play at 4 holes!
