About Pacific Palms Resort
Pacific Palms Resort is billed as "LA's hilltop hideaway", the only full-service luxury golf and conference resort in Los Angeles County. The setting of the 292-room hotel and two golf courses by William F. Bell and Casey O'Callaghan is set against the San Gabriel Valley Mountains. Live music and jazz sets the mood at the Red Restaurant and Bar. The Industry Hills Golf Club's Eisenhower and Zaharias courses have been upgraded over the years with new turf and infrastructure, but their historical layouts remain unchanged.Facts

Favorite course
I Love this course! Challenging with beautiful views
Good course
Course is pretty good, some of the tee boxes are beat up and could use some work
Too many blind holes
Too many blind holes! Par 3 are challenging but at least you can see the green. This course has narrow fairways and wide undulating putting greens. We paired up with guys from Norcal and excited as we are to play this course but really disappointed to get any bearing out of this course.
Early morning round was great
Great experience this time. Technically my 2some was 3rd group of day but we only had 2 players and the 4 some in front of us graciously let us tee of ahead of them. THANK YOU #1. By the 4th hole there was another 2some who let me and my buddy through (we play fast) - THANK YOU #2!. The final 2some in front of us moved along just fine - so we had a 3:10 minute round which is far better than the 5 hour my last time here. In the morning, there were some wet / watered areas but overall conditions were very good. Greens were very smooth - medium speed. Rest of the course was good. A bunch of maintenance people out on the course. Great weather, Great pace of play made it a great Day. Thank you.
Good, but could easily be great
Started at 10:10 on a Thursday morning, took 4.5 hours, so mediocre pace. Most staff were friendly. But one guy read me the riot act for parking on the barren dirt next to the cart path, instead of on the cart path itself, at a high-traffic intersection that maintenance workers were using in all directions. Relax, dude, I'm just trying to help get out of people's way.
The biggest mystery with this course is why they won't shell out a few hundred bucks for color-coded flags -- you know, red for front, white for middle, blue for back, like almost every other course in the U.S. A lot of shots are semi-blind to the green, so it sure would be nice to know roughly where the pin is. I'm not all that accurate, but even a mid-handicapper like me cares whether he's trying to hit it 140 or 160. Why make the distances a secret? It makes no sense. That's why I'm dinging a star for "course conditions."
The layout and maintenance are very good, and it's a tough but fair test. I just wish they'd put in a little more effort into making the experience enjoyable.
The Ike
Best quality course in the are for the money. Extremely challenging and generally in good shape with the exception of the tee boxes and several bunkers which appeared unserviced. They did allow singles and twosomes to go out between foursomes which slowed play.
Staff friendly and courteous. Would definitely go back!
