Fantastic course great staff
First of all the staff was fantastic super friendly accommodating, gave a lot of information about the course. Shout out to Chris in the pro shop. Super nice dude.
Course was in great condition, even though we had 2 feet of rain over the last three days the grains were slower than normal but rolled great. Some of the holes are pretty narrow so controlling your shots of the tee is crucial. Greens very receptive and bunkers ok due to the rain we have had.
Overall great course, can’t wait to get back and play when the greens are fast and furious.
This course was worth the money!
It is overall a beautiful course! The narrow layout makes the round interesting and challenging. Would recommend!
Greatness!!!!
From the friendliness of the pro shop to the Starter, to the cart return, and the restaurant, this establishment was top notch. The course was in great condition. The sand traps had just the right amount of sand (or so I heard). Putting was true and the fairways were plush. You actually had a chance at every shot. This is a must visit course any time we are in the area.
Great Getaway!!!!
The course was in great shape, I love the lay out, green, fairways and bunkers were in great shape. The only issue was being paired with to beginners, I realized they need to pair people up for pace of play but they should probably ask for handicaps when doing so. Otherwise a great time was had.
Late Tee Time Surprise
We decided play golf last minute and reserved the 1:40 tee time thinking that we will be playing only 9 holes. When we got there around 1pm, we were able to start golf right away. Fortunately, we played whole 18 holes. What a good deal we had. The course is decent and the weather was perfect at Escondido. We will definitely revisit this course in the future.
$120 ALL DAY?!
Why are you charging $120 all day every day all the way up to Sunset? I used to play every week here. No more. You are not Arrowood. You do not get to charge that much especially for every single time slot. Another good course ruined by greed and ignorance.
Too expensive
This course is fun and I would love to play. I use to play more often when the price was reasonable now it’s too expensive too play. Since the rates went up I’ve only played once. It’s a shame being that it’s the one closest to my house but there other course near by that are just as good at a 1/3 of the price.
Slow Play
WE played behind a Juniors folg tornament. Play was very slow due to the tournament. We were not advised of the tournament and would of played somewhere else. Very frusturaing slow play, the first par 3 we aited 30 minutes to tee off. Whole round took 6 hours.
too pricey
the course is in great shape. but it's too expensive, esp. considering who owns it. they have tons of money yet charge too much. will only play on rare occasions. other choices nearby.
Expensive
The course conditions were good, but I don’t think it’s worth $90 on a weekday. Maybe for $60 I’d be interested in playing again.
Bit overpriced
First of all, the pro shop staff was very friendly. The course is tight for the first 3 holes. Back 9 definitely has more character to it. I am visiting from Michigan and we can play far better courses for the price of this one. Some of the bunkers had mud and no sand. Tee boxes not maintained. Hopefully the new management under the casino will work on it.
