Definitely not for disabled players
The course was roped off as carts only. I did not know this when I signed up. I am disabled and would not have signed up had a known. The carts are equipped to only allow backing up when you get in restricted areas. I told the pro shop I was disabled and they said they would disable this on my cart. They never did. As a result I was forced to walk a significant distance with hazardous conditions several times. I understand they do this to protect the condition of the course but it should be stated before allowing tee times to be booked. It definitely would not be approved by the Americans With Disabilities Act. Was extremely disappointed.

Great course
I honestly figured for the price of it that the course wouldn’t be in the best condition, but the condition was amazing, greens were really quick but very playable, the we’re doing some work on the tee boxes but that wasn’t an issue. Great time at this course, will definitely be coming back to play again.
Thank you for visiting us at Pala Mesa Resort. We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.

Nice and challenging
It was our first time play this nice course, layout was great and fairway was narrow and Greens were great shape!
The only exception is their carts which have GPS and will suddenly stop moving if you go into a "restricted area". Problem is they don't marks at all!
The food and drinks are very decent prices and staffs were very nice. Today we had 2 players left cell phone on unexpected places and both phones found ! We were very lucky!
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. Thank you for playing Pala Mesa Resort.
Needs work
Temporary tees on bare spots due to overseed. Fairways sparse. Greens slow but playable. Disappointing maintenance. Just worn out and in need of a major overhaul. I forgot how loud I-15 sounds on this course.

Very disappointed
Paid full price not knowing the greens were irritated and sanded the tee boxes were all being worked on
Very disappointed
Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the poor experience you had during your visit. The current condition is by no means the standard we strive to achieve and are working diligently to improve the course. Please visit or website or social for aeration updates, and keep an eye out for the aeration icon on Golf Pass and Golf Advisor. We hope to see you again, and sincerely appreciate your feedback.
Heads Up when Aeriating
It use to be when a course was aerating, golf now would tell us. I walked into this course blind and saw immediately the practice green white with salt. Every hole had been torn up the day before and you couldn't use the t-boxes because they were being overseaded and had to use the side of them that had monster grass. Had a hard time putting the ball on the t because the grass was too long for the t to go into the ground. How about in the future you let us know about this, and the course, how about if you won't let us use the t-boxes, maybe put a driving mat out there so we have something to hit off of.
I use to love this course, but it was in such terrible shape. I get you have to do maintenance, but charging almost the same price for a poor quality experience makes me not want to come back.

Beautiful day at Pala Mesa
Great price today on green fees with cart. at $32 on teeoff with a 20% discount as an email recipient.
Course conditions were very good. Only area lacking was the tee boxes that were thin and sparse. Greens were great (speed at approx. 10-11). Traps very good. Fairways were a bit thin but hopefully will improve with cooler weather coming.
Overall a great value and a challenging course from the back tees.
Thank you so much for your feedback. We are glad you had enjoyed your time at Pala Mesa Resort, and pride ourselves on delivering the best experience possible.
We hope to see you again soon!

Horrible shape!!!!!!!!!!!
Have played this course for 10+ years weekly, course continues to get worse…. Tee boxes are in HORRIBLE shape, nothing but dirt to hit off!!!!!! Fairways are becoming a joke as well, decent grass is hard to find anywhere throughout. WILL NOT PLAY AGAIN……… not worth the money you are charging. Will be playing at Golf Club of California until you guys can figure out how to maintain your course. Owner needs to step up and invest money back into the course. Was once a great place to play for a local who lives in Fallbrook. You guys will continue to loose golfers until you can improve your course conditions. I know numerous members who have left the course due to your conditions. Don’t water your money here any longer as it’s NOT the resort course it once was. Stay away until conditions improve!!!!!!

Nice course
Nice course, played it twice now this year. Fairly tight fairways but surprisingly not many lost balls. Pretty fun and challenging. Tee to greens were in good shape for the most part.
