GRUOPED W/9'S
COURSE IS WALKABLE BUT THEY CHARGE YOU TO TAKE A CART. I GOT GROUPED WITH A FEW SENIORS WHO ONLY PLAYED 9 IN A GROUP OF 3 PLAYERS. SO I WAS LEFT BEHIND 3 GROUPS OF 4 AT THE TURN. BACKED UP AND LET 2SOME BEHIND ME JOIN ME. SHE PLAYED THE SHORT HOLES OR HALF WAY ON PAR 4'S. GREENS WERE NICE, BUT NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS SHOWED ON THE THIS WEBSITE.

Nice course
This is course is nice. A little pricey for the size, but none the less had a great time. Staff was friendly, course was in good condition. Wish we could have seen the Bev Cart more than once. Will definitely play again.

5 Stars-From Service To Swings
Highly recommend. Greens are quick and responsive/challenging. Narrow fairways force you to grow your iron game or learn to play a safe drive. Awesome clubhouse staff!!!

Got gyped
I tried to alter my tee time reservation from 3 players to 2 due to illness and the app would not let me do it. Very disappointed !

Good value for a challenging course
We played this course years ago. Always enjoy the setting despite the proximity to a freeway which makes for some noisy holes. Pace was quick, course was not full. Conditions were quite good but bunkers were inconsistent with some being very hard. The first few holes seem different than the back nine particularly as the front is quite flat and trees impinge more on the fairways. The course seems to open up after a few holes & by the turn, I I wondered if the back nine were a newer design.
Carts with GPS were included in the price which seemed very reasonable for a difficult course. The course offers much natural beauty in the surrounding countryside, colourful vegetation & birdlife. Now if I hadn’t visited so many bunkers, maybe the outcome would have been better. As others have mentioned, the carts are set to redirect you back to the path earlier than needed but worth another visit nonetheless.

Great shape
Great course , tee time 6:40 was done just before 1000. Pace was fast . Greens were beautiful and fast

Great course, great shape, silly cary restrictors.
Course in great shape, record setting heat the day we played. Only complaint is the restrictors on golf carts. On many holes the carts just shut down and you had to drive in reverse to get back in the approved "zone", On many holes, this was a 100 yard walk cart to ball and another 100 back to cart. Never seen anything like it. Will definitely play again, but be prepared to do a lot of walking with a handful of clubs.

Good Day at Pala Mesa
I played with 3 friends on 4/6/22. POP was great nobody in front of us and the group behind was a little faster than us so it made us move a bit faster which was great as some of the members in my group thought since it was Master's week they were playing for the green jacket. Rating 1-5
Fairways 4--good condition only a few bare spots.
Rough 4--long enough to penalize but still find your ball
Tee boxes 3-- were moved up quite a bit so that degraded the challenge some.
Greens 5--Excellent; medium fast (speed 10) pretty firm.
Traps 3--Need some more sand.
Overall a great day on a fun course and a beautiful location

Carts
I enjoy the layout of the course. But I very much dislike the carts!!!!
They do not give you the freedom to move around the course. It made the playing very frustrating.
This will not be a first choice place to play.
And I would not recommend this course.
