The ranch-style Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook is just minutes away from Temecula wine country. All 132 rooms have either been renovated or will be soon. A heated outdoor pool, four lighted tennis courts and fitness room are available to guests. The golf course starts out narrow but gets more scenic with more elevation changes later in the round.Facts

Nice track. Fancy golf carts with Bluetooth! Overall course was in better shape than others in the area.

Nice course with lots of challenges
First time playing, several long par 4’s. Greens were fast with lots of undulations. Some narrow fairways and plenty of elevation change.

Condition
The course was in good condition but have seen fairways a little rough and greens not in best condition

Terrible Course
This course is in terrible shape, and it cost me $83 to play. I'd never pay for this course again. We were excited to play there and to try it out-- we play every other course in the area in North County SD. This is absolutely the worst one and was in the worst shape. I was so incredibly disappointed.

Always a great time
We play here at least once a month. The greens and fairways are always in good condition. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The snack-bar has great sandwiches and fresh backed cookies. The resort restaurant (Aqua-Terra) is excellent. Nearby is Nessie's burgers (awesome burgers) and D'lacobelli winery. The winery (when open) is only 5 minutes up the hill. A great place to unwind after hacking it up.

An Excellent Option in the N. County of SD
If you enjoy elevated tee's, and a rolling course layout, this is an excellent course to test your game. Some fairways are wide open and others a bit narrow, with lot's of tree's, which provides a variety of conditions. The greens are the most challenging, and often difficult to read, so your putting is always on guard. Highly recommend playing this course for a solid round of golf to test your skills.

Enjoyable
I enjoyed the round. Love the course layout. But thought it was in slightly rough conditions.
Tee boxes not level or flat, fairways mosly good, greens had some pretty rough spots in various locations.
