Fun course with good conditions
Very enjoyable round and would definitely play again. Wind wasn't really a factor, some interesting layouts and features along the way. Would've loved if there were a snack/bar cart, but we still had a great time.
Nice layout, great condition, well maintained.
It was a raining day. Amazing that the course was still very playable. The greens were still "dry" and fast. Rain stopped after a few holes. The fairways were dried quickly. After 18 holes, no mud on shoes. It tells how good the course condition is.
Great afternoon of golf
The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They even remembered me from my faux pa.. booking at the wrong resort last week lol. The course was in great condition. Greens firm and true. Only downside was the afternoon wind coming up the Carmel Valley. I would definitely recommend this course it’s my favorite for the cost.
Distinctly well manicured course and wonderful setting
This course is extremely well maintained and provides a nice variety of challenges. Although not too challenging. The fairways run below the majestic mountains surrounding Carmel Valley, alongside the meandering River and between some of California’s nicer homes. The greens, fairways and bunkers are what you hope for at every golf course. The course is about 9+ miles long. Only one hole with a good vertical rise and one hole the same vertical drop, it is very walkable. Other than being careful around the homes the course is good for even intermediate players. I do want to mention there are requests throughout if you go out of bounds into the neighborhoods planting you do not look for your lost ball. The community has very few fencing if at all including the driving range.
The club house has a nice restaurant. I definitely plan to return.
Great course
This is one of our favorite courses. Always great!
Lago our pup really likes Tommy “the treat guy”
Super nice
Amazing Course
Amazing course in a beautiful area. Starters are always so nice. I’ll get there an hour early to warm up and I’m usually able to get on early. Pace of play usually decent. I haven’t had a round over 4 hours. Be careful off the tee. Many holes are right up against fancy houses. Have to be precise.
I’d never pay $300 to play this course, or even $150, but every few weeks there’s a super deal that if you have a membership you can get a round for $50-$60. Fantastic value. Can’t beat it.
Great Day @ The Quail
Perfect weather and the course is in top shape. Greens were quick. Tee to green is plush. Undulating greens with some tricky reads. Will be back. another round (in the afternoon) under 4 hours. Really enjoy playing and practicing here. Awesome facilities
Paradisial Carmel Valley
Absolutely fabulous layout. Some of the best, if not THE best, greens you'll ever putt on. Played with a first-time visitor, he loved it.
strategic ~
pace of play consistently a problem . Owner should be aware.
Awesome Golf Course
Great weather and course conditions. Staff super friendly and helpful. The course was in great condition even with pinhole aeration. Love the diversity holes, elevation changes, water holes and the bunkers guarding the green and shaping the fairways. Very enjoyable round even though I didn’t play to my potential!
