One of the most scenic courses I’ve played in Northern California
Gorgeous views. Great layout. Super fun to play. But I was a single and had to play behind several foursomes so pace of play was ridiculously slow for that reason. This was my first time playing the course and can’t wait to come back. A hidden gem.
Not to be missed
You will regret not playing here.
It’s not a long course but it’s a challenging layout that gives to reason to think your shots and club selection.
Greens were fast snd perfect.
Great to be Back to bad it was so windy & cold
The course was in excellent shape, there was virtually nothing I would have wanted improved. The only problem I had was that the fog was lurking which created a very windy and cold day on the course. I'll be back looking to redeem myself with improved weather conditions.
Beautiful Course
Nice layout and beautiful. It’s a little misty today but very pleasant to play here. One of my favorites.
Beautifully maintained course
We played Pebble on Weds, Spanish Bay on Thurs, but couldn't get on Spyglass, so we found Quail Lodge based on the reviews. It is a beautiful course and well manicured and maintained. Also very scenic, especially the back nine winding through the canyon. Fairly flat, it would be an easy walk. Fairways had been recently punched, but didn't impact play at all. Greens were great, rolling fast and true. Carts have GPS and the water bottle was a nice touch. PB & SB could take a hint, especially for the money they charge LOL.
For the Monterey area this course is priced fairly, but much more expensive than what we pay in Sacramento. Would I play again? Probably, but I would also like to try the other highly rated courses in the area for the experience. Staff was very friendly, starter, cart attendants, shop guys, marshals were all great to interact with.
A fun course
Just played it again - this is a fun course that is in great condition!
A really nice course
I always love playing this course. It has a very nice layout and is always immaculate. It is a very nice course and makes for a great day.
One of the best in Monterey area
One of the nicest well kept courses, worth the money
