Loved this course. The condition of the course was excellent! The greens were in great shape! Can’t wait to play it again!

This is a nice course but the rates are way out of line. No local respect and no decent rates for locals.

Aviara has been our preferred layout in SD County for decades. The turf replacement project of 2022-23 has enhanced the maintainability of tee to green grass by eliminating winter overseeding. Fairways are a little thin still but coming along nicely ! Greens are true, accept shots well and are not so fast as to be unfair.

Pace of play was great, well under 4 hours ! Yes, being a Tuesday afternoon not in the summer makes for an uncrowded golf course. May be a different story on our next visit end of May - early June.

Aviara is such a great course with a selection of challenging holes and the greens are fun and challenging at the same time. Always a great round given how well maintained the course is and how friendly the staff is!

The type of d-bag they let play on this course is sad. As a guest from out of town, some locals on the tee box decided that it was a good time to make fun of me as the Starter laughed. Clearly the Starter knew the group....entitlement is sad. I later confronted the starter ....asked him if he knew those guys and if he allowed people to talk garbage like that on your course. I guess it is public, but bro you don't know anything about me. But the starter to allow others to make fun of someone openly is sad. I have seen others tossed for a lot less on dirt tracks. Staff acted like it's was a joke ....all I'm saying is Michigan has beautiful courses and nice people. I was shocked at how I was treated , openly insulted, let alone at the great t-bag pines. Sad entitled staff and guests ...don't waste your time. You will be disappointed and embarrassed as I was just walking in

I would love to play here again but the price is too much for a standard golf course.

For 2 months before and after the Farmers it is noisy and a construction site putting up all the bleachers and corporate-only tents, public viewers be damned. My buddies invited me for my 5000th time playing at this place. I always feel sorry for all the people that think they will play on the ocean when only a couple of holes are actually ocean views. You will probably take 3 shots to get to every hole even if you are a low handicapper because of the remodels, good luck. I'm not gonna complain about waiting 15 minutes on every tee box because it was free.
