Great
The course was fun and well maintained. Tee time was right on schedule and the play went smooth. Value was great and I will play again.
Good value
My deal on Golfnow.com was a great value. This is a good challenging course. I was surprised there weren't many golfers taking advantage of a beautiful Saturday morning. We comfortably played in less than 4 hours and never saw the group in front of us, or the one behind.
Great course and fast greens.
Ridgemark is in great condition with huge super fast greens. Pace of play was very good and they just replaced all their carts with brand new ones. With two courses to choose from, it is a great value for the price.
Great course for the money!!
A wonderful course in very good shape. Definitely worth playing,
Great Value
Had played the Diablo course previously, and find that the courses are well-maintained. Courses are mostly bermuda, so fairway lies are pretty consistent. Greens are typical for bermuda, a bit bumpy, but relatively quick. Gabilan 18 winds through houses more than the Diablo course.
This was a great value for being the Friday of Labor Day weekend, and we were not pushed at all during our round, in the afternoon.
Do not enjoy Diablo course
Do not enjoy Diablo course because og hole 7. As a woman player with not great length, waste two shots trying to get to the fairway.
Best all around course I've played in two years.
The last time I played this course was 25 years ago. The trees are 20+ feet taller now. From the parking lot to the 18th green-this is the cleanest, best maintained course I have played the past two years. Lush fairways, the rough was mowed fairly, trees line the rough-not in the fairways, holes are clearly marked with great signage, cart paths were like new, traps looked well kept, however I was never in one. The greens read true, to me, like putting on velvet. This well watered, well drained, well manicured course has matured beautifully.
Our threesome teed off at 7:45 and walked off the 18th green at 10:45. Three hour round.
The Pro Shop & Starter were professional, courteous and well groomed.
Muni condition, can't beat the price!!!
Overall a good golf experience. The course was in decent shape and got through the round in a little over 4 hours with very little waiting for other groups. If you like the Muni course layout in the bay area this a must. Two 18 hole courses to choose from and if you happen to find one of the Hot deal times on Golf now your only going to pay a little over 20 dollars for the tee time.
The only issue i had with the course is the drainage is awful and has been for years so there is standing water in spots and can get muddy in areas. Other than that no complaints especially for 21 bucks.
Fun to play.
This course challenges me but is not too difficult. The pace of play and value for my dollar are excellent.
Great fairways
One of the best values in golf.........great in all catagories.
You'll need almost everything in your bag, especially if you shank one.
No front nine or back nine, only the 18. A little different to not see the clubhouse or pro shop again until you are completely finished, but not a burden either. Some of the holes are deceptive, and you find yourself in trouble before you realize it. I don't care much for all the crossing of residential streets, between houses, and down the shoulder of a main road once or twice, but it is easily overlooked once back on the next tee. Well maintained, green, well cut, except of course the infuriating 6" rough. I know, my fault for being there in the first place. We had a good time, and will likely go back, at least to give Diablo a try, if not to play Gabilan again.
This was a great course.
This was a great course. Beautiful scenery, great staff and service.
Excellent staff and beautiful grounds.
We enjoyed playing here very much. The course meanders though neighborhoods between holes which gives time to relax and enjoy.
Excellent day of golf
The course was in excellent condition. The staff was extremely friendly. Loved it so much playing again with 2 more friends this weekend.
Good place to spend 4 hours.
Gabilan is not near as chalanging as diablo, but it is a nice course for the price. Fairly flat, generally in pretty good shape, and the pace of play is almost allways excellent!!! (3 1/2 hours)
the greens were in spectacular shape
course was in pretty good shape greens weres fast and true
rough was pretty heavy and it was a good test
Fun and Challenging...Excellent Deal
First of all it was $14 for 18 holes with cart.....a large bucket of balls is $10....do the math. Be patient and you too can find these deals on GolfNow and the course is great. The best part of Ridgemark Golf Course that there are two 18 hole courses. Great and friendly staff and the 19th Hole, food and spirits....what else can I say, but GO PLAY
The course is in great c,on diction!
Its a real easy drive from San Jose, going against traffic. The greens are in excellent condition!
Fun, interesting and playable
Sometimes "interesting" and "playable" don't really go together. But in this case, Ridgemark manages to accomplish both. You don't have to suffer through hole after boring hole of straight, up-and-down fairways, but the doglegs provide you some risk/reward opportunities if you're longer off the tee, while still managing to be playable. Course is in pretty good condition with some variability in the greens: a few were in really great shape, while others had a little bit of ribbing here and there. Overall though, a good value and a fun round of golf.
Fun track
I played for 13$ unbeatable first out done by 10. I play in Santa Cruz typically so a nice change of pace rather lengthy but not much trouble.
