All 100 rooms of the Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - owned by the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation - are just a short walk from the pro shop and restaurants in the clubhouse. There's a fitness center, the Primrose Spa, tennis courts and an outdoor pool and hot tub nearby as well. The Willow Glen and Oak Glen courses are regulation length, while the Pine Glen is an executive course. The Sycuan Casino Resort, located three miles away, can also serve as a home base with more than 300 rooms, 10 restaurants and bars, more than 2,000 slots or video poker machines, more than 40 gaming tables, bingo and a 457-seat entertainment venue that hosts national musical performers and comedians.Facts

Marshall desperately needed
People play this course like their. Competing at the IS open. 4 some was waaaaaay behind and no one did anything. Carts tell you how far behind they are, but do nothing to increase speed of slow players. I had a hole in one (my first ever!) yet this round was a painful one. It should take 3 1/2 hours to play a short 18 hole par three course. Too bad no ranger ruined the experience of a lifetime. We booked an early round and tees off at 8:20 but didn’t get done til noon.

Great course but slow pace of play
Course layout was great. Greens in good shape. The 4-some in front of us was very slow with no Marshall in sight. Skipped a hole at 9 and had the entire back-9 to ourselves with no one behind us for the rest of the round.

Nice course
I took my 11 year old to his first "real" golf course, this was a perfect introduction for him to a golf course and holes with the ideal distance for him. I had not played Pine Glen in many years and was impressed with the condition.

Single Golfers Beware
The course was is decent condition, but the pace of play was slow and not a marshal in sight to help. If you play this course as a single golfer, you will be charged an additional $25 if you want your own cart. This is a brand new policy and an obvious cash grab by the course management. It is too bad that a course already charging around $100 a round on a weekday also wants to soak you for another $25 for a single cart!

Worth the drive
Just a fair course set into a little valley. Went with my 24 year old son. We had a blast. The carts must have the UC San Diego IT department programming them. This cart drove itself and ALWAYS made sure you were safe. Greens were a little soft and everything bit. I loved the long par 3 with the waterfall on the right.

oak glen was under construction so they shifted us over to play Willow glen and it was perfect playing conditions, fairways and greens were in great shape!! thank you for a great round of golf

Works for me!
Lots of course improvement taking place now however I think on only one hole we played a temporary green. Fairways good. Greens good. Greg value for the money, GPS carts with ball/club washer and ice chest are nice features. We’ll play again soon.

Correction
I stand corrected on my review of this course regarding notification of construction. It is definitely posted and I did not see it before booking this course. However, charging $75 to play it in this condition is not fair at all.

No business charging full rate
I played this course with my son and a twosome who joined us. This course is under major construction we were given a sheet on how to play holes out of order. There were several shortened holes, a temporary green, skipped holes and holes with fairways blocked by construction. At no time during the reservation process were we made aware of any construction ( golf now or the course web site). We were also not offered a discount after we paid full rate and were notified if the significant construction going on. There is no way they should be charging anything close to full rate and they should be posting warnings a out the construction on the web site and golf now etc. Will never play there again.

Lovely Friday Afternoon Round
Grabbed a hot deal for $68 on a Friday at noon. We got sent out early and played in about 4.5 hours but never really waited too long to make it miserable. Greens were slow but in very good condition. Fairways were hit and miss just like most courses right now.

Ice/water horders
Course is rad. Been playing here for years. But the only way they will give you a cooler full of ice is if you buy a $46 6 pack of beer. We bought a few beers, water and Gatorade. They gave us 1 16 ounce cup of ice. It’s in the mid 90’s out there. Come on people. You own a casino. You don’t have enough money. Maybe when someone passes out from heat stroke they will change it. Also. No coolers on the tee boxes. Get it together people. We’re thirsty!
