All 100 rooms of the Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - owned by the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation - are just a short walk from the pro shop and restaurants in the clubhouse. There's a fitness center, the Primrose Spa, tennis courts and an outdoor pool and hot tub nearby as well. The Willow Glen and Oak Glen courses are regulation length, while the Pine Glen is an executive course. The Sycuan Casino Resort, located three miles away, can also serve as a home base with more than 300 rooms, 10 restaurants and bars, more than 2,000 slots or video poker machines, more than 40 gaming tables, bingo and a 457-seat entertainment venue that hosts national musical performers and comedians.Facts

Ice/water horders
Course is rad. Been playing here for years. But the only way they will give you a cooler full of ice is if you buy a $46 6 pack of beer. We bought a few beers, water and Gatorade. They gave us 1 16 ounce cup of ice. It’s in the mid 90’s out there. Come on people. You own a casino. You don’t have enough money. Maybe when someone passes out from heat stroke they will change it. Also. No coolers on the tee boxes. Get it together people. We’re thirsty!

Nice San Diego Inland Golf!
Willow Glen was a fun track . Required a variety of tee shots. Greens were very good. Staff could be more aware of what’s going on out there ….

Very Sad to see where Singing Hills is Headed
Singing Hills has been one of my favorite places to play for over 20 years. However, their recent changes and complete lack of concern has led me to never visit again. Recently, they removed colored flags from the greens. I brought this up to quite a few employees at the course, and was eventually directed to the General Manager. When I spoke to the GM, I was told that is the way it is, if you have a cart you have the pin location information. I responded, what about walkers, and then suggested they create pin sheets, loan out rangefinders to walkers, or just put the colored flags back. I was told this is the way it is and if I watched golf on the weekends I would see that they do not use colored flags, a comparison I find ridiculous as I have neither a caddy to supply the information or the time to walk the entire course in advance of playing.
During my last round there, on Tuesday, June 28th, the following occurred:
I looked forward to refilling my water and getting something additional to drink at the turn, but the snack bar was closed. I gave the pro shop a call to request the cart, but also closed. Never did we see the beverage cart during our round. When it is over 90 degrees, it would be nice to have a way to get something to drink.
Finally, as we approached the final hole, the GPS in the cart of my playing partners shut down for the day. I guess you were trying to make the riders feel the same pain we walkers feel going without information.
I emailed the course to discuss my concerns once again and received this reply from the Director of Golf:
Our policies are our policies and they are not going to change we are looking to partner with patrons that not have patrons that do not complain at the first sight of change. We have made some changes and most likely others are coming. You have every right to play where you want to play and we have every right to manage our business the way we see fit.
We feel at the end of the day we will have some nice courses that offer players a completive and nice place to play. I think at this point it’s probably best you move on.

Alan is suggesting that I am in the wrong as I complained about "changes" and has told me not to play there in the future.
It must be nice to have so much demand that you can alienate very loyal customers, but I guess that is the situation Singing Hills is in. If you do decide to play there, beware if you are a walker as they are charging the same rate as the riding rate.

Played Willow...not Oak.
Pace of play too slow...5-hour round. Otherwise very enjoyable course. Layout and conditions very nice. Also scenic views.

Expect course to be a bit more challenging after construction is completed, but also more appealing to see and play. Construction causes some confusion at the moment and some challenges with conditions. Would recommend...after construction is complete.

Golf cart control
When I used the electronic golf cart, the vichlie was controlled by its position like slow and no move.
Even the cart's alarm was needed to be kept on the right cart path, but I don't think it needs to be disabled to move forword. It's so inconvenient and I've seen many times that some players push the cart by their hands.
Could you make the proper policy for the cart control like removing no move?

Course under construction
The course was under construction so there was a really confusing hole layout. Some tee boxes were off of old greens and vice versa.

Wait until it’s finished
The course is undergoing changes to become a PGA or Open qualifier. There is a lot of confusion about the layout and the course is not in great shape even out of the construction. Once it’s done it will be awesome. Wait until then. That said, the staff is great and the facilities are very nice.

the course needs to do a better job of WARNING customers of the conditions and of routing golfers around the construction.

Don't Play
The course is under construction and should no be open.
Too many roped off area and temp greens are bad.
Use to love this course, won't come back after being charged hefty rate to play incomplete round.
