Excellent value for the area
Fantastic conditions! Every single green in immaculate condition! Fairways all excellent!
Single Golfers Beware
I played here on a slow weekday. After paying for my round and cart (almost $100) in the pro shop, I was informed by a staffer they pair up all single golfers in a cart. This was news to me and they have never done this before. When I asked about this, the staffer brushed me off. He then informed me they didn't actually have another single to pair me up with, BUT I'd have to wait around until they did. This was a slow day at the course and there were at least 30 to 40 available carts outside the pro shop. So instead of just giving me the cart I'd already paid for, he told me I could have my own cart for an additional fee or wait around indefinitely until another single showed up. Since I wanted to golf and not wait around, I paid more on top of the $100 I had already paid. The staffer actually seemed happy he'd cornered me in paying an additional fee. What a horrible experience!
The whether was bad. After 5 holes played, it was raining and thunder storms. We requested raincheck, but they refused. They told us either wait till the rain stop or leave the course. It was terrible.
Lighting and Thunder 5 holes into round.
Heavy rain, winds, lightning and thunder. Pro Shop staff not friendly and not concerned with customer service will not be back to play because of lack of concern with satisfaction..
Course has been upgraded
Great condition and pleasing to the eye. One of the best courses in San Diego county.
Beautiful course...
The course is in amazing condition.
The front nine greens are super fast in mint condition.
The fairways are tight and well maintained.
Bunkers looked good although i didn't use them as luckily i didn't get into one.
The golf carts are really nice and comfortable and the cart path is the best in all of SD.
I will be booking again!
A good course nice layout green fee great money spent. I would recommend this course to anyone
Course and greens are in really great shape
Course is beautiful, new cart fleet is top of the line. Pace of play was perfect on a Tuesday!!!
Horrible Pace of Play
I played here on a weekday in the middle of the week. The course itself is in pretty good shape. They are still working on it, but all of the holes were open. My problem was the horrible pace of play. There was an 8-some. That's right. Eight players in a single group in front of us. This group was so slow that the entire course was backed up. The course Marshalls did nothing and my group along with a lot of people behind us just gave up trying to complete the entire 18. This was an incredible waste of time and money and should never happen on any golf course.
New renovations are great.
More water makes course more difficult. We like to play by ourselves however think allot of twosomes impacted pace of play. Waited a long time on almost every hole. Twosomes behind us asked to play through. Advised they would not go anywhere. Backed up, we let them thru and we waited longer for them each hole. More than annoying...........
Some Good Some Bad
Overall course conds were good with the exception of the greens. Way to slow and bumpy, need to be cut and rolled, desperately. The driving range is terrible, mat's and balls are junk.
The new golf carts are fully loaded and nice but need to buy a min of 4 beers to get ice for the coolers!
For $100 we expected better greens and driving range is in need of major upgrade.
