singing hills willow glen
Only problem, slow play of two groups in front of us, and marshal said they do it every week, and don't listen to him. But, beautiful course and conditions.
Nice course and good value
The guy that checked us in wasn’t very friendly but everyone else on the course and in the restaurant were very friendly and courteous. Nice bar and grill for 19th hole and the course was very nice. Our second time playing here when we visit San Diego and we will be back.
Fun course but geo-fencing sucks.
The cart geo-fencing might be the worst in the county. When it’s not making back out of the first cut for no reason it’s trying to sell you something and making you hit buttons to get back to golf mode. Otherwise nice course. Suprisingly soft fairways for the location, going to say over watered due to mudballs. . Staff is super friendly and helpful, very service oriented. Ghost town on Monday so you can drop extra calls and practice on course without ruining pace of play OR fly through the course. Finished under 4 hours while playing multiple balls.
Great condition and pace of play.
First time playing course again after over 15 years. Great layout, conditions, and overall pace of play.
Good course poor pace of play
I’m 43 I’ve been playing here since I was a kid. They’ve put a lot of money into the course and done a lot to improve it. Great course for the price. The course is always in good condition. The pace of play has become terrible 5+ hour rounds every time no marshaling.
Good conditions on course
Slow moving with pace, holes are a bit on top of each other and somewhat expensive for this course. Very forgiving, fairways friendly staff, and kept up nicely.
Best Bang For Your Buck!
As someone who plays a different course every week. This is still by far the best bang for your buck course. It f you pay this price any where else the conditions won’t be as nice. Pay of play can sometimes be a problem but they really country to keep it on track
Narrow course with people on your fairway every hole
Played a pre noon spot and by hole three we were backed up by 3 parties. Overall length of play was 5:25 due to the play on the first 9 (3 hours) not once did we see a marshal or talk to one. Course was pretty, well kept and narrow. Plenty of water features and bunkers to hop over. People are on your fairways hitting the other direction almost every hole. If I had a -1 for every ”Fore” I heard I’d have a spot at the pga tour.
A must play
Weather was great. Stay in the fairway; lots of trees. Greens rolled beautifully. Going back again.
Pace of Play for Weekday
Pace of play for early Thursday tee time was significantly slower for Willow Glen course. Waited a few minutes each hole to tee off. I've played course several times and hadn't experienced this slower pace previously. Chalk it up to an off day!
Worth the green fee
Fairways and greens were in great condition, but the bunkers could use a little more sand. Pace of play, pro shop staff, golf carts and maintenance crew were all excellent. Would definitely recommend this course and will be returning in the near future.
Fun round of golf
Course was in good shape, greens were nice and layout was nice as well... definitely will play again and recommend friends.
