Very good round
Other than mix up with tee time. 0845 instead of 0815 as booked, our round was very good. My guests enjoyed the experience.
Disappointed
When we arrived we were told $20.00 per person for a golf cart.
The course bumbed my tee time due to a tournament and did not notify me. Poor customer serivces, did not offer an appology, but rather blamed us for booking through golfnow.
Excellent Course
This is a challenging and aesthetically pleasing course.
Charming gem
We had great fun day at Temecula Creek, first time play her, definitely will be back and bring more friends!
Nuce course in great shape
I played the Creek and Stone House nines Bothvwere in great shape Our foursome played in 4 hours starting at noon This was a nice experience and worth the $
Great golf course. Well designed and staff is great. Very friendly. Had a great time. Would highly recommend it. One of my favorites.
$20 Cart Fee Beware
Beware of the secret $20 cart fee that they charge you on top of what you’ve paid with Golf Now. No where did it say this when booking the round. They blamed it on Golf Now at the pro shop and said they’ve had nothing but problems with Golf Now.
Great Course, mostly good conditions, but horrible pace of play!
Great layout, and the course was mostly in good shape. The greens were rolling decent, but could be improved to give a better role. The worst part was the pace of play, where we had to wait on the Teebox for the people in front of us to hit almost every other hole. Other than that I had a very good time and a good experience. But they need to fix their pace of play!
well maintained parklike setting
overall conditions are very good for this time of year and having 27 holes allows for timely scheduling as the 9 that had been recently conditioned was in excellant shape. Greens trough out the course were healthy very receptive and rolled true. Fairways had good cover and rough could be tricky. Some tees were on the thin side and bunkers are covid stomped but did appear to have good sand.
Good deal gone bad.
I have played this course many times. I arrived at my scheduled time only to be informed that my tee time had been changed to an hour later. I was also told the Golf Now app fee DID NOT include the golf cart fee. Very annoying deception- it should be clearly stated by them in the app. For the inconvenience of being rescheduled one hour later, I was given a small bucket of range balls, a very mediocre compensation gesture. I ended up walking the course with my own pull cart since they also do not rent or have them.
A nice wideopen course
The course played fair under very hot conditions. I believe 4 holes plus the par-3 were cart-path only, but it is not Torrey Pines so a $40 cart fee for my wife and I was a little outrageous. We'll be back, but not until it's cool enough to walk.
Return to the Creek & the Blue Pig
First visit back since the course was dropped from our SCGA club’s rotation. With the exception of one young gentleman filling in for a couple minutes for the excellent, mature starter the staff is superb. Even with COVID-related limitations they we friendly and helpful. I’m also taking pandemic-related challenges to the course so ignoring the uneven bunker conditions in light of really good, smooth greens that had reasonable pace with challenging positions. GolfNow provided easy booking with reasonable rate and we will play this tract again (and hopefully bring our club back as well).
