Terranea Resort

Playing at the Links at Terranea was much different than my normal round of golf. Instead of stepping onto the first tee and wailing away with driver, it was a much more uncomfortable sensation hitting wedge with my first full swing. It was awkward and unfamiliar, but wonderful. The course offers a beautiful variety of nine different par three holes. From the back tees, any of the nine would fit in perfectly at any other golf course. Perhaps my only complaint was that the distances didn't offer much variety... I probably only hit three different irons across the nine holes. The scenery throughout the entire round is second to none and the course is in immaculate condition, especially the greens. Terranea offers a stern test of your short game while distracting your senses with her coastal beauty.

Love the Golf Links at Terranea! It is a challenging course with not so forgiving landscaping lining the fairways. The greens are fun with multi-levels requiring a sure read. The ocean views and beautiful landscaping keep me coming back,

Don’t be deceived, this Par 3 is challenging and the greens play at a 15!!! It’s like putting on glass, really challenges your game!!!

Super disappointed, set a tee time for Sunday at 11am, knew I wanted to run the course twice, noticed online there was a half off re-run fee so I called the reservation asked if I needed to book another tee time, “no just come back to ask to run again, there should be no issue everyone does it” I then asked them if they were sure because I wanted to secure the spot, “yes you’ll be fine” so Sunday comes drove over 1.5 hrs went through the first 9 holes and when I asked to run again they started “sorry all tee times are booked” I told them I spot with reservations, response “well you should have asked to talked to us (the golf shop)” ......

Got lucky and played with my daughter on a gorgeous day. Sensational views of the water and islands. Perfect way to work on my iron game. Staff friendly and professional. Will definitely be back!
