Food
Bar tender took care of customers that were sitting watching tv and told him when he has time while I was playing. That was no big deal, extremely disappointed in ordering a ham and cheese sandwich through the cart and it was no better than an am/pm sandwich. It didn’t even come with any sides. It even had made on label from 3 days ago. Copper has a fantastic restaurant, very surprised and disappointed by that.
Poor pace of play on great course
Love the course, can’t stand the pace of play. Usually it’s pretty good, but the tournament was ridiculously slow.
Another golf course that just wants $$ most golf courses that I played charge regular price for guess raiding, my wife was with me she doesn’t play and this golf course Changed $30 for her to ride with me, the cart that I picked the ice chest was full of garbage ,the sand traps were in horrible condition you can see all the grass barrier on top , fairways are in good condition, greens were healing for aeration super slow, they had 2 foursome in front of my group they were all over the weeds looking for golf balls every hole ,finish my round 5 and half hours. Nice course , first time playing here but I will not come back , I rather look around for diferente courses to play.
great as always.
Greens fees where at a discount because the greens and a fairway or two where plugged recently but the course still played amazing even though they where in that process. team knew how to keep the amount of sand on the green to as little as possible. can’t wait to go back
Outstanding experience all around
We had a snow delay but wow was the staff amazing. From communication to thoughtfulness of the shotgun start to calling me and telling me I forgot my wallet in the golf cart.
This is a fine establishment and the course was in amazing conditions (bunkers were expected to be wet after that rain).
The carts were top notch and added a bit of prestige to the course.
Will be back!
Very scenic
On 11/30/22, I enjoyed my first round a Copper Valley (CV) with a buddy. The course was in good condition with many positive and only a few negatives. The course is located in beautiful rolling hills and with the fall colors in play the day was a visual delight.
The positives included several clean restrooms peppered around the course, well maintained fairways and greens (which were fast), and tee boxes were in good shape for the most part. Also, the cart navigation was cool and included radio with Country music.
The course has many slopes to play, so you can use some good course management and hit left and watch the ball come down and hit a mound or side of the fairway and then roll into the fairway.
Several elevated tee boxes make for interesting shots.
The negatives were several sand traps that needed maintenance. I wondered why most were in great shape but some were neglected. Maybe some follow-up my management on the grounds crew?
In the winter, the course uses a shotgun start process after 10am to avoid frost delays. The downside was that we got a little backed up at times. Also, after we rounded the 18th and went to the 1st tee, the GPS said we had exceeded our round, but I think it is a setting in the GPS they can turn off to accommodate shotgun starts (not everyone starts at 1 and finishes on 18).
Overall a great experience. I am looking forward to returning.
Great course, terrible pace of play
12:50 tee time, didn’t get to start until 1:15. We were only able to play 12 holes in 4 hours.
