The Resort at Pelican Hill

Pelican Hill is a great course and very high end experience. The prices have gotten out of hand in the past few years, but I guess supply and demand shows that there are enough people who can afford it will pay the fees. I paid the fees, but not the full fee. We got in 15 holes.

The Bermuda fairways were different for me and I hit a lot of fat shots, but that is on me.

The greens were fast and very good but not perfect. Overall conditions were excellent.

Only issue we had (with a 2:00 PM tee time when sun sets at about 5:15 on a very busy day) is that a couple idiots, thought they could just jump in front of the groups like ours. THey got a piece of our minds and eventually the Marshall came out and put them in their place.

Pelican hill is a beautiful place and expensive. IF you can afford it play it.

Very disappointed. Rocks in most of the bunkers...don't hit out if you have nice clubs.. they WILL get ruined. The round was extremely slow as well, over 5 hours. They put too many tee times too close together for a place charging that much. Views are good, but value is low at best. I wouldn't play there again to be honest.

Course was nice fairways were a little beat up I assume because it’s winter time over all very good experience I don’t think the price is justified and I did get a discount on golf now

Everything about the facility is top notch. The staff are excellent. The course itself is ok in my opinion. The conditions were good as expected, meaning the grass was in good shape and there were not too many spots that we work out. Several holes have a nice ocean view. My disappointment was in the layout. I felt the course characteristics were bland and repetitive.
