Decent local course for beginners
This is a decent beginner course. There was a lot of duck poop on the course but otherwise average conditions. Pace was ok
Like they took all the Par 3’s from a full size & put them here!
Solid par 3 that's more challenging than other local options.
Overall, this is a great par 3 course. Pretty well maintained and isn't just a pitch & putt. Use most of the bottom half of your bag and greens can be tricky on some holes.
A little wet in the mornings so can be soft throughout the course. Feels like a real collection of Par 3's from a full size
Nice easy going 9 hole
This course has a mini country club feel with the hotel ambiance and amenities to boot - very quick 9 hole , well manicured but tough course with a lot of undulations - great time playing and well worth the fair price
No dogs allowed
During my time on the coarse, there were dogs roaming around attacking the ducks. Not only was it a distraction, I personally don’t want to golf with dogs. One person was walking the dog on the course and the other one let it roam free. Please no dogs….
Nice Par 3 Course
Great place to work on your irons and putting. Nice to have a bite to eat and drinks at Westdrift Hotel bar after golf.
5 Stars
This was one of the better courses i’ve been to in a while. Only down side was that it’s all Par 3’s, but it was still very eventful and unique! Definitely recommend for the price and quality of golf they provide.
Payed full with only 8 holes
Number 8 hole wasn’t in play and we were never told that. Payed for a nine hole course and only got to play 8 holes. Very disappointed.
Nice but course UNDER REPAIR
The staff were super friendly and the course looked like would be nice if the conditions weren’t undergoing repair. The winter rains really did a number and there are several holes that are being completely reseeded. The 8th hole is also closed as half the green was washed out.
8th Hole Closed
Did not know that until we reached the 7th tee and saw the 8th was "taped" off. At first I thought there was an alternate green, but no. We were not told the 8th was closed. It would not have caused us to leave, but at least maybe a discount or a free hot dog? The 8th is the most challenging hole. Heck it may have saved me a few bucks in golf balls in the lake. Other than that, it's worth giving this course a play, as there are longer par 3 holes than the nearby Top Golf The Lakes.
Recent Flood has damaged course
Golf course is nestled behind the Westdrift hotel. In normal conditions it’s a nice course. However, the recent rainstorms in SoCal has caused flooding on holes 6 and 8. Course is in remediation to repair flood damage but open for business. I still recommend the course for those in the Manhattan Beach area or visiting the hotel.
