Better in Boca
This course is in excellent condition. Fairways are lush. Bunkers are well placed. Greens are challenging but smooth. Carts are modern and have GPS. The layout is challenging - with several serious doglegs and water in play on many holes. The 18th is a kicker with a second shot water carry to an island green. Pro shop had limited supplies. Staff were 50/50….the course ranger was super friendly. I arrived early but pro shop said I couldn’t go out early because of my rate. Starter put me out as a single behind four foursomes - so playing through wasn’t worth it. A little frustrating. But overall a great experience.
Very nice place
Beautiful resort course. This place was in great condition. I was attending a corporate event at the resort so I don't know how much the green fees were. I assume they were quite high. Fun course to play. Staff was top notch.
Resort Golf at Its Finest*
This course is a little like going to Disney World: it’s beautiful, but it’s expensive, and the ambiance is totally manufactured, and you probably ought to be somewhere else.
Find another course
They are flat losing their greens. They tried to blame it on too much rain over the past 5 days but I live in Florida and these are some of the worst greens I have ever played on. I hate a course that thinks I am stupid. Admit you have a problem, reduce the fees and that is where the problem lies. They want to charge full boat for a dinghy. They have bare spots, then overgrown areas, then scuff marks from the mowers. Find another course.
Great day of golf
The course provided an amazing experience and an extremely enjoyable round of golf. That combined with an amazing resort made for an extremely enjoyable trip.
Over the Hill
This once prestigeous course has seen its better days slip by.
The course could use a major overhaul. Still retains some of it,s former beauty.
