Bonaventure Resort & Spa

I played this course for years. It was in terrible condition until it was sold to new owners. They did a very good job bringing it back to playable condition, not great but very playable. But the last time I played 7/6/24, I was disappointed by the lack of maintenance. Rough was full of tall weeds, fairway not cut well and greens were very slow. I know it's summer and they don't get as many players due to the heat and rain (and loss of snowbirds) but letting the course deteriorate is a bad idea. The track is good, the price is good, just need to maintain a bit more.

The golf course is in much better shape. The design was always nice and now greens are well maintained. They deserve a chance

A week ago the course was in the best shape I had seen in over 10 years. Now they have sprayed every fairway - all brown and hard to play.

I haven't played this course in over 10 years because of the unbelievably bad condition it was in. Read the good reviews online and decided to give it a try. This course needs at least one more good summer to be good. Fairways are being worked on. Looks like they are killing off the grass for replacement. Greens roll good and seem to be well maintained but are terribly slow.

It’s a great golf course and it has come along way from the way it was last year. The employees are very nice and always great to joke with. This is one of my go to golf courses.

I noticed that the golf course lacks rangers and requires better maintenance. Despite that, it is a beautiful place with an amiable staff. With some care, this place could be exceptional.

Course has been reborn from last time we played.

Fairways and greens very good. Tee boxes need some work. Will play a few more times over the summer..

Would recommend to everyone.

I have played this course for the last 40 years. What once was a beautiful, fun course to play had turned into a course that was not taken care of, or management changed for the worse. Fairways a green in horrible shape and the clubhouse stripped of pretty much everything.

However, this time around it was great to see the course back to the championship level it once was. Green, trimmed and well cared for - definitely back in my list to play in a regular basis.

Good condition. Lots of water. Too many people in front and behind us. But played pace was good

Enjoyed my morning outing. The Greens are in good shape. The perfect amount of challenges. Just keep the pace up

Greens were in good condition, which is shocking compared to how it looked one year ago. They rolled at a decent pace and rolled true except two that were slightly bumpy. Bunkers were in decent shape. Fairways and teeboxes good enough. Great course layout. Nice spot to grab snacks at the turn. Worth playing if you're in the Broward area.

This course has undergone a ttemendous improvment v several years ago, The greens have come back. The bunkers have been redone and are groomed (could maybe use a bit more sand), the fairways are good. Only a few tees areas remain to be improved.

The course was much better than some other reviewers indicated. The greens were in good shape. The fairways were in good condition. Only a couple of tee boxes were spotty.

The greens have definitely improved since the last time I've played here a few months ago and I'm sure they really improved over the past year or 2.The greens are on the slower side and still a few bare spots here and there on a couple of greens but nothing that deters me from playing here again.Fairways are solid too, nothing out of this world but solid for a regular public course.
