Bonaventure Golf Club

About
Bonaventure Golf Club (formerly known as Bonaventure Country Club) is a classic Florida layout with holes routed through strands of mature palms and hardwoods, and around numerous water hazards and expansive bunkers. This course, designed by Joe Lee, is also called the Green Monster. Some people call it the Cascade Course because of the waterfall on the picturesque 160-yard, par-3 third. This signature hole has a waterfall that stretches across the front of the green.

Brown spots on green and tee boxes but otherwise a pleasure
This course is in rough shape
I have been playing this course for years and it is in the worse condition that I have ever seen. They do not take care of it and it shows. Also the pace of play on a busy day is unacceptable and there is nobody there to control the pace. It is a. Free for all. I do not recommend playing this course until it is sold to a company who will take better care of it. That is when I will return.
Vers bad green
they’re the worst Greens we’ve played this year. it looks like there is a let go to close this land. it is no longer worth traveling for this land.
Good value
The course was in okay shape and the cart girl was very nice. The pull off to load bags and being able to drive the cart to our car was a huge plus. Definitely a good value.
Windy and wet
Very tough layout lots of water.
Front nine was not in especially good condition lots of sand on the greens.
Skip the mats at the driving range and the Practice putting green which should be bulldozed.
Back nine much better.
Not a good course for those who are beginners or who don’t have a good understanding how far they hit the ball.
There is water on most of the holes.
Decent value for the money will probably give it another chance.
Will try to get paired with a local next time so to avoid many unforced errors
Loosing the greens
Nice golf course as usual, but today the green were a disaster...
Course is getting an update maintenance, so hopefully will be in excellent condition
