Bonaventure Golf Club

This course should be half price. I had a 12:45 tee time and at 12:30 they told me just to go because the group I was supposed to be paired with “asked if they could go” upon coming to the first tee box there was three foursomes lined up waiting as one group shot 6 balls on the tee each. I paired with a group to make things easier since there was no starter or ranger. It took an hour and half to FINISH hole 2 (still no ranger in sight). Course was in horrible condition greens were slow and full of dirt patches. This course was expensive and a waste of money, a double shot was $30 and the cart girl came once… mind you it took 6 1/2 hours to finish…

Layout is challenging and requires quality golf shots. Good value. Course is not pristine but certainly decent

This golf course is seriously overpriced for what it offers. The amenities are terrible, and the staff is consistently unfriendly, which sets the tone before you even tee off. Pace of play is beyond pathetic—expect long waits and zero enforcement to keep things moving.

When the greens are actually taken care of, they’re not bad, but that’s about the only positive. The fairways are weedy and inconsistent, the rough is in awful shape, and overall course maintenance is lacking. The tee boxes are decent at best, but that’s not enough to make up for the rest of the experience.

For the price they’re charging, this course is a major disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend it unless significant improvements are made. Woodmont Colony west Davie golf club are all better options

Incredibly well-designed course. Challenging and fun. Plenty of water - so strike carefully. Fairways were a bit dry, as were the greens. Nice overall, I’m going back next week.

Always heard negative things about this course . Played it for the first time and was impressed. Great layout. Course conditions were good . I'll be back .

Beautiful course and club. Great shop and course staff. You can tell a lot of effort is going into this place. Had an excellent day out there!

I played Bonaventure back in June or July, the course was in really bad shape with bare spots in the fairways and multiple lost greens. Played it a couple days ago just before Christmas, in much better shape. Greens are really nice, tee boxes are in good shape and fairways were in good condition. The layout as always quite challenging. We'll be back soon!

Course was average at best, pace of play was very slow. Off course amenities are all sub standard.There are better courses in the area for similar price.

Nice weather here in south Florida over the couple of days. I stumbled upon a new bird on #2 and a gator on #5. I posted a picture. This guy is hard to miss.

The staff was great, few golfers so pace was excellent! The course was well maintained & good playable shape!! Longer & more open than I expected. Hole 3 has a beautiful waterfall with the green right on top of it! Fun to play. Had a great round! I will be back! Maybe tomorrow! lol

A few rough fairways and a couple spotty greens, but many are quite nice. They have been working on the course and it shows. Always been a great design that challenges you to make shots, nice to see it coming back.

Where the greens aren’t damaged, they are pretty nice. Quick and challenging. The pins were placed to avoid the plugs they are trying to reestablish. Fairways are a mix of good grass and low cut weeds. Course is longer, challenging in places, especially on the greens. Tee times have been readily available.

Probably a tad over priced, but being able to walk on as a single helps during the week. I’ve played it a number of times and it’s one of the closest courses to where I live.

We've been here for 4 days and we've noticed that there are a lot of two-person groups; I counted four behind us. I don't understand why they don't put them together; we constantly feel rushed, and it's not always pleasant. And this is the case at many campgrounds.

Nice layout. Conditions a little rough. Sand in bunkers is beautiful, but there's a shortage of rakes.

If I could have cancelled my tee time I would have . I tried.. I told the Manager in the Pro Shop the same thing.

Course conditions were horrible . Pace of play? Imagine the lines that wrapped around the grocery stores during Covid . The lay out is nice and has potential, but needs a-lot of work . I Made the mistake of taking my 8 year old daughter here for her first time. Her Cart fee costed more than what I paid to book a tee time on GN . Would strongly suggest going somewhere else .

The staff at bag drop and pro shop are very nice.

Restaurant is neat.

Golf course vwry prestine with some iguanas. Green can be better. Notice some weeds , a sign that they dont use a lot of chemicals.

Nice course and layout. Good trees and landscape.
