About as good as it gets for value, beauty and upscale amenities.

Course is beautiful with beautiful bunkering, huge waste areas and sloping greens. Never waited on a shot. Clubhouse is spectacular and on course facilities are top notch. A hidden gem left isolated when the housing crisis hit. Folks working there were wonderfully friendly. Everything anyone could want in a course. Personally I think it is superior to the Watson Course at Reunion in Orlando but basically having a course to yourself on a Thursday is a special thrill and well worth the few extra dollars. Green fees are a bargain if you want to play something special!

Routing isn't the greatest. Couple of memorable holes.

Not worth the $185 price in today's golf market. Somewhere around $125 would be more realistic. The few Ocean Views are nice but the rest of the course is just a course. Played South Hampton the following day at $29 a person and it was just as interesting and more of a challenge and since the greens wern't just sanded more fun to play and staff was just as friendly and attentive.

Great layout, nice ocean holes. But not worth $200.

I was a bit disappointed in this course. For $200 you expect perfection. This course was far from it. The condition of the course was good, but not great. We had course maintenance in front of us putting down rye seed and turning on sprinklers. Some of the greens were mowed, some were not. Some were wet, some were dry.

Bottom line: it's not worth $200. If you can pay $85 or so to play, I'd do it again. But when they turn the sprinklers on in front of you, shut down the range because of maintenance ... it's clear that the player experience is not the focus.
