Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club

Really enjoy the south course at Lake Jovita - is really different course from the common Florida course, its hilly, parklands style course with undulating firm and FAST greens. Don't leave your approach shot above the hole. Would recommend this course to anyone!

First time playing here early morning and had an excellent time. Neither group ahead nor behind us ever came into play. Course was in excellent condition and the layout was challenging thing yet fun.

The course was in above average condition compared to others in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great selection of tee boxes to accommodate most handicaps.

Pro shop was at least 1/4 mile or more from the parking lot - Got a ride to the pro shop when I got there but when I returned my cart I had to walk all the way back to the parking lot.

Got a Coke at the turn and the woman at the snack bar acted like I was imposing on her.

Greens were very good - putts rolled fast and true. Fairways were also good but some tee boxes and areas around the greens were only sparsely populated by grass.

Tough course - no GPS on carts was inconvenient. No starter. Would expect more for $117.

Many long drives between holes - signage could have been better.

There were ZERO ball washers!

There were a few water coolers but NO CUPS.

Pace of play was excellent - we were a twosome and had nobody in front or behind us.

Overall this was a fair to good experience but I won't go back for that price.

Loved the layout! Course was in great condition! Not your ordinary flat Florida course lots of elevation changes! Greens are fast and tough!

Played here during a golf vacation. Highley recommend. Great experience all the way around.

We play this course 30+ times a year and are always happy with the entire experience. From the friendly accommodating starter to the staff in the restaurant The LOGs always enjoy our day.

This was the first time I had a chance to play this course and it has always been on my list, considering others recommendations. Pricey but well worth a good round. If or when you have the opportunity, ensure to get a round in at this course. Excellent Staff and make sure to chose the North Course.

The place is a gem..

Played the south course, fairways, and greens were in amazing shape, greens were very fast and mean.

Lots of breaks and undulation.

Tee boxes were a little beat up, but that's it...

I had friends in town from Dallas and they love the course layout and experience. Never a bad day at Lake Jovita.

Our only issue with LJ is unnecessary slow play. We constantly encounter slow groups who lose contact with the group ahead. On this occasion there were 2 open holes ahead with the group in front of us just plodding along oblivious to the situation. I have never seen an on course ranger at LJ to step in and remedy this by simply warning of slow play or moving the offenders along.
