Lines on the greens after being punched. Difficult to putt with these grabbing the ball as it rolled into them. Photo submitted by bvmagic on 05/30/2016

Great course but didn’t get to finish
Only got to play 10 holes before bad storm came and we had to leave. So only played half and got charged full price.
Thirsty
Love the North course, great condition and layout, numerous elevation changes unlike most courses in Florida, always a good pace of play. Only negative is the lack of a drink cart. Last 3 rounds, cart was heading in FOR THE DAY as we were heading down hole 1 (before 11am). This round, she was covering all 36 holes by herself so we didn’t see her much. You won’t see the clubhouse/snack bar until you finish 18. Bring a cooler with your own drinks or you’ll be thirsty in this Florida heat!
Great course but greens punched
We play this course frequently and were told the greens had been punched eight days earlier but unfortunately they were still not in great shape and it was no fun putting.. We will be back soon as this is one of the greatest courses in the area !
One of the best in a hour drive
I got a deal time for $70. It was totally worth it! The course condition is always good! Greens are in great shape and tees and fairways are well kept. Everything is green and has grass! Carts are nice and staff is great! Only thing it's missing is a few more on course amenities, more water and cups and bathrooms. And the bunkers were a bit rough might be renovating them couldn't tell wasn't in them much. I would spend $70 to play here again in a heart beat and maybe even $100. But it might be a stretch for $135 or whatever the weekend rate is.
Fantastic. Feels and looks like what the pros play on.
Great course!
Range was closed but still shot a solid 81, open fairways, greens rolled true. Great course, scenery , golf shop, can’t beat this course.
Beautiful course!
We played the North course of Lake Jovita and it was beautiful! The greens are very well maintained, as well as the fairways. The course is challenging but enjoyable. We especially loved the free use of the driving range prior to our tee time. Highly recommend!!!
Fantastic course
Thoroughly enjoyed the South Course . First hole is a very challenging start . Always great condition and well worth a visit. Club House and pro shop both friendly and welcoming. Stunning view from the restaurant.
Pristine Condition
The course is in absolute perfect condition right. Found a deal on Golfnow for $60. Well worth it. The starter said they are preparing for the Open qualifying round. Greens area super fast and rough is almost as good as fairways.
fantastic
I had been forewarned that Lake Jovita was a hidden gem, but still - I was overwhelmed
this is a Great layout, with expansive views ( due to the un-Florida-like terrain - Hilly !)
we were booked for the North, but got "upgraded" ("it is more scenic") to the South
the starter sent us off a little early - to avoid being behind a tournament - we played in under 4 hours, and had No One behind nor in Front of us - all day
This course stands up to any & all - in Pinellas & Hillsborough counties
Issue with both lake Jovita and golf now
Set up twosome thru golf now hot deals, thought I could add my son to make a threesome but couldn’t, either on phone with golf now rep, or thru course website. I assumed course had put my twosome with another, but when we show up to play, they sent us out with three other twosomes, all separate groups. A little frustrated I couldn’t add a third player, whether is on a list of golf now “friends” or not.
This was a challenging course for me. Fairways were generous but a number of approaches were narrow with bunkers and water on both sides. Greens were true with some tough pin placements. Womens tee boxes were in good shape which is usually not the case at most courses. Will definitely play here again.
