Thumbs Up
Lely’s Flamingo is a pretty nice course but too often overpriced, especially in high season, so is full value as a summertime Hot Deal. The course was virtually empty, in excellent shape and played extremely well. The greens were particularly true, which resulted in me carding a personal-best score for a full-length course. I only wish the staff was a bit friendlier and the workmen did not get in the way so much. Even so, recommended.
The Flamingo course was in excellent condition. The staff was professional. I paid $46 which covered greens fees, cart, bottled water on the cart and unlimited range balls. It was a tremendous value. I did have a slow twosome in front of me and the course was wide open ahead of them. However, they didn't wave me up to play through. That wasn't the fault of the facility. They were poor players and probably not familiar with proper golf etiquette. Looking forward to playing the other course, Mustang.
The Mustang is a Gem
Got a 2pm 🔥deal absolute value and great open fairways worth the trip out from Park River. Greens punched recently but still playable - overall pace of play fantastic - rated it highly
Great experience
Wide fairways, greens were in great condition, bunkers were very playable and the rough was also playable.
Very fair coarse for an average golfer.
Open fairways, greens were in great condition, rough was very playable.
Over priced, unfriendly and slow greens
The title says it all. Club house staff is never friendly and for the price they charge throughout the year they really should be!
Hot hot hot
The course was very nice. There wasn’t much cover from the sun in the heat of the summer so it was very hot in the summer heat but the course was beautiful and challenging in a good way.
Afternoon round
It was an enjoyable experience. The weather was great. The course had nobody on it. We just played at our own pace. The course was in great shape! Greens were very slow but that’s how it usually is in the summer. Would recommend for anyone to go play this course.
Great course!! Was really hot that day but the cloud cover saved us on the back nine 😀
Nice Track, Slow Greens
The course layout is challenging but fair. Fairways and rough are in very good condition and the carts/GPS were great. The driving range and practice green were in nice shape. It is mid-July and very hot out there so the greens may need to stay a bit furry...not sure...but I do know they were slow. I do recommend this course to my friends when they are down in Naples.
