Lely Resort Golf & Country Club - Flamingo Island Course

This is my second time playing this course while vacationing in nearby Marco Island. As always, starting from the cart guys, starter and pro shop, very good experience. It was very hot, but the cart is supplied with towels and cold water. Did not see anyone in the course in the afternoon because of the extreme heat but it was perfect for us. Will definitely go back next summer.

Played the course after some serious downpours this week and it was in remarkably good shape. Cart Path only on just 3 holes. Got 16 holes before the inevitable SW FL afternoon thunderstorms kicked in. Bit frustrating that my 11 year old was charged full rate when other courses in area are very accommodating for kids. Very good course with plenty of options for all abilities/ages.

The golf experience was excellent, great course, amenities, outside staff. The golf pro shop staff was horrible. Insulting and demeaning. I checked in about an hour and 30 minutes because i am on vacation and we had 1 car. My wife dropped me off early as she was meeting an aunt for lunch. The staff made sure to let me know that check in for future reference is 30 minutes before my scheduled time. I was not asking to go off early. He made sure that I played behind a 3 some followed by a 2 some . Not a soul in front of them for at least 45 minutes. The restaurant staff was very friendly as well.

Course was in great shape, greens were perfect. Green speed was identical for the whole 18. Don't go into the woods looking for your ball, the mosquitos will carry you away

Range was closed due to recent rain, but course was open cart path only. Green rolled well for how much water they recently had.

I am very happy that I was able to play the Flamingo course at Lely resort. The course was in great shape. Fairways and greens were presitine. It is a slow time of the season, so pace of play was wonderful. Can't wait to try the Lely Mustang course next.

We played under challenging conditions because the course was wet and it was cart path only for our round so it was a little bit stressful. Also, we had very high winds today. However, the pace of play was surprisingly fast and I would highly recommend! Beautiful resort, course type amenities.

Flamingo is an excellent golf course

Simply too bad after some significant rain that there were cart path only holes yesterday & greens were uncut & slow ...

Otherwise the course was great

Nice course pace of play was good friendly staff only down was rain shortened my round only completed 14 holes overall good course
